Chapter 1: A Fateful Encounter
Act 1: Times of Childhood
Appointment Day, Yggdrasil Year 1627, Month 6, Day 22
It's been over three years since Dawn was born. So far, there was not much change in Yggdrasil. Klendiana Lexington had just reached five years old, while Reynes was three years old. Furthermore, Kurt and Yuki take them along to the capital of Arminia, Armenia.
Since this is the first day of where Kurt would be appointed as Minister of Agriculture, he would receive a house in the capital. Furthermore, he would receive a promotion to an Earl. King Eudes Arminia promotes him because of agriculture growth beyond his expectations for the last three years. The production rate increased almost sixty percent, and the quality also improved.
The trip to the capital takes around five days, with stopping by at several towns for rest.
"Here we are, in the capital."
Under the Royal Family and Lexington Family agreement, the Royal Family authorizes the Lexington Family to establish two offices. One office is in the capital, and the other is at Shills. Kurt has had to spend money since he contacted Shina two years ago, and if he didn't request her to establish a portal, he might have to stay at Shills for government work. Shills, after all, was selected to conduct experiments on the crop rotation program.
"It looks like I have to take another quest to keep our financial up to date."
"It's the first time she made it, after all. Not to mention her connections are very valuable to us."
"True. But…"
Looking at Klendiana and Reynes sleeping as they've entered Armenia, it doesn't stop him from remembering what had happened three years ago. Klendiana would receive her blessing a day after his appointment day as Minister of Agriculture.
"You still thinking about that prophecy?"

The audience and appointment day went smoothly. After an appointment, King Eudes talks to Kurt once the Ministers and nobles leave the audience hall.
"Do you have any schedule to remain in the capital today?"
"Ah, yes. Your Majesty. My daughter would receive her blessings tomorrow."
"I wish to come with you as well."
"Eh?"
"We would talk about this in a private room later."

After the audience, Kurt was inside the room for a private talk. With the Prime Minister also present as a witness, he began to talk.
"Earl Lexington. I have… a premonition in the future."
"What kind of hunch, if I may ask?"
"Do you know Madam Prophet?"
"Yes, I do."
That would explain everything, as King Eudes asks Shina to conduct fortune-telling, not for him, but the Kingdom itself during her visit a year ago.
"She confirms my hunch. I fear that I will not be able to live long in the future to see this Kingdom. But, I saw where this Kingdom would be thrown into turmoil more than once when I left this world."
"What it has to do with me?"
"I need you to train your children. So when this homeland is in deep peril, I want them to return to this Kingdom as Supreme Commander. If my children were not able to command the army, I would entrust them to you and your children."
Kurt's eyes were wide open when King Eudes would promote both Reynes and Klendiana into a General and appointed as Supreme Commander in the future.
"But, Your Majesty. Immediate promotion to a General and appointment to the highest authority on military through your will could spark a debate amongst the Ministers and Generals. Not to mention I would only teach them the basic way to handle a Legion, which could consist of multiple adventurer's parties for future assets."
"That's where your value comes in, Lexington. Your journey brings a lot of value to us, and your wisdom is unparalleled. Even the Indexa Kingdom wants to hire you as a Scholar because of your knowledge. Your appointment as a Minister here is a sign of your knowledge being acknowledged by us here."
Sighing, Kurt can only answer. "I will consider it."
"Take your time to answer. I will come to the church with you tomorrow."
"Understood."
Next Day, Capital Church
There were a lot of five-year-old children lined up to receive the blessing. Nobles would use the prayer room used by Nobles, and Commoners would be at the main hall. However, today, King Eudes also visits the church. He's about to give the blessing to his second son, Eliot. Striden Arminia already received the blessings three years ago, and this time it's his second son. His daughter, Aurelia Arminia, would be joining Reynes two years later.
Kurt is waiting for Eudes, so they are heading to the room designed specifically for noble as soon as Kurt, Yuki, Klendiana, and Reynes arrive. There were heading towards the room where nobles usually pray.
"Welcome, Your Majesty. We've been waiting for you."
An Archbishop of the church is waiting for him. Eliot and Klendiana kneel in front of the Archbishop, and he chants a rite to give them blessings. The room soon starts to emit some light powder surrounding room. Both consciousness soon was taken to God's Domain.
Inside God's Domain, Klendiana opens her eyes as she looks up. A Goddess, which has a beautiful lady, white long-haired, and with a cloth that covers her body, looks at her as she's looking at Klendiana.
"Greetings, children of Sevis."
"Y-you mean, me?"
Nodded, she flew to her and landed in front of her, which contrast to Klendiana's golden hair.
"I'm Goddess Yggdrasil, the one who maintains this land from peril and serves this land as Goddess of Life and Creation. For you who would receive my blessing, you would receive my oracle to guide you in your journey. I shall grant you Appraisal Inhibitor to prevent those who were able to use Appraisal and Full Appraisal to measure your true strength, Oracle to communicate with me, and Soul Transfer to transfer your body into a human-shaped object."
"Soul Transfer?"
"Children of Sevis, there would be a time where you and your companion would need a Soul Transfer to save you and your companion's body and preserve it. It would also allow you to train yourself and increase your abilities. For that anticipation, I will bestow you blessings from Goddess of Magic, Reno, and God of Perseverance, Sisats.
Know this, Children of Sevis. In two years, you shall come back to visit this church along with other Children of Sevis. It would be where I would give both a revelation that would aid your journey."
"I understand."
When returning to the original world, Klendiana opened her eyes and stood up. Looking at her status board, it would seem that she receives blessings from Goddess of Life and Creation, Yggdrasil, Goddess of Magic, Reno, God of Skills, Grimm, God of Crafting and Blacksmith, Hephaestus, and God of Perseverance, Sisats. She conceals everything to make it seem like she only receives blessings from the Goddess of Magic, Reno, as she wishes to avoid any unwanted attention.
"Are you okay, Klendiana? Eliot already finished a while ago."
"I'm fine, father. Where's his majesty?"
"He's waiting for us outside."
Nodding, both of them went out from the praying chamber.
Returning to the palace, Eudes held a private discussion with Kurt.
"I've received an oracle from the Goddess of Life."
"You mean, Goddess Yggdrasil?"
"Yes. My concerns were confirmed when she gave me the oracle, and whatever I'm going to do now, it will be crucial for the survival of the Arminia Kingdom. Furthermore, myself, you, your wife, Striden, Aurelia, Reynes, and Klendiana would revisit the church when Reynes reach five years old."
"I understand."
Once the appointment day is over, Kurt and Klendiana return to the Lexington house at the capital.
Kurt, Yuki, Klendiana, and Reynes gather inside the reception room.
"Alright, Klendiana. Show us your status."
"Yes. Restriction release. Full status authorization."
She displays her full status and her title. What brings to Kurt and Yuki's attention is the title of Disciple of Goddess of Magic, Reno, and the Priestess for Goddess of Life, Yggdrasil.
"Goddess Yggdrasil said that I have to visit her when Reynes is about to receive his blessing on his 5th birthday."
"I understand. Conceal your true power, Klendiana. With your magic power alone, you could be at an immeasurable rating or SSS rank, and your magic needs some training. I would advise for you to train under your mother since she's slightly above SS rank for her magic power."
"Yes."
"When would I receive the blessing?"
Reynes can't help but feel curious about it.
"Be patient, my son. In two years, you would have it. For now, you can focus on what do you wish to learn."
"Yes, Father."
Kurt began to prepare a series of training for Klendiana. Since she would leave Shills and attend the academy in the capital five years later, Kurt would train her as much as he could.
