"Why are you in my room?" Louisa asked the golden-haired man standing adjacent to her.
As far as she knew, Thomas' sneaky behavior was becoming out of hand. "Leave!" she told him, stepping across the floors to reach him. She got to him. "Do you badly want to put me in a mess?"
"No, no. Hear me out," Thomas put his arms out, palm forward. "I do not have any desire to cause hurt to you, alright?"
When he saw that she no longer looked too angry, he let down his hands. "I just came here to talk."
"To talk?" Louisa repeated that line with brows raised. "You thought it would be best to talk in my bedroom with just me."
"Yes," Thomas said.
Louisa unwittingly pushed up her breasts by folding her arms right under them. "Are you serious right now?"
"I am."
"No, you are not."
Once she'd said that, Louisa walked towards the windows, and searched the curtains. Nothing.
