Rochester was the happiest man this morning.

In a twinkle of an eye, D-Day was finally here. The day when he would return to using his limbs and being the man of charisma he once was. The last three days — correct, four days, had been a lot. The stigma he felt from Louisa's inaction of letting him see her was enough to spur him on to quick recovery. No one was willing to do something or say anything, otherwise.

One time, Adelaide had crawled up to his side and when their talk began, Rochester could not help feeling a tinge of gratitude that Adelaide, unlike the rest of the family, had some nice things to say about Louisa.

She went from "Oh Uncle, I am sad. Very very sad" to "I think I have been a terrible friend to Hazel…"
