Chapter 60 - Unrest

Red looked redder inside her eyes that were simmering hot. They burned as though a bucket of clattering embers had sat over them. Unlocking her lids was the bigger challenge.

Louisa could not bear the aching of her joints. They acted like she'd suffered a nasty beat, all over her body, during her sleep. The burns in her soles were unsettling, too hurtful that they prickled as thorns.

"You might be catching a Flu," somebody said.

She was not ALONE?  

"If your condition is not treated fast, it could worsen and overall, your health," the person advised.

There was no tinge of sarcasm in the way that person talked; they sounded very kind. Regardless, Louisa could not help jolting herself up. She was cramping all over but she needed to make them leave.

"How…" Louisa swallowed her spit. It stung, devouring the ring of sore inside her throat. "How are you here?" she asked.
