With one final glance at that man's departing shadow, Louisa's eyes watered up. She only hoped that he had not seen how badly she was pushing back her disappointment of seeing him leave. As she veered her gaze back on the terrain under, her eager eyes snatched a peek at the vast expanse of land in which the compound flourished. A gracious mass of greenery, and other colourful leaves shaded an umbrella over the tree base to shelter it from the morning sun. "Strange," coughed Brightfin suddenly. "He never got to answer my question."
