It was in a nice clear afternoon, the clouds were clear with the grasses dancing and swaying in the field due to the wind. In the midst of all this was a young tall handsome youth, he was dressed in a black top suit and pants, his hair darker than the night, and his nice ebony face without blemishes, of course the young man was Afo.

The smell of the grass permeated his nose as he stared at his a tombstone with his mother's name on it, he didn't feel sad and he didn't feel joy either, he basically wore the black not to mourn but because he just felt like it, his mother was among the world's top ten worst if possibly ranked but he shared no resentment towards the woman. He believed she just failed in doing her job after loosing strength.
He just stood there as staring blankly at the tombstone, the gentle breeze that blew bye tossed his empty right sleeve of his suit causing it to sway according to the wishes of the wind. A young otherworldly beauty walked up to him.
A young fair skinned young girl With ebony braided hair that flower to her back, a thin waist thick thighs and long legs like a model and and above average breasts that complemented her appearance. She had glasses on her beautiful face that would make any christian woman out there question if god really is impartial.
And following her was an ebony girl about ten years old with short black hair and a cute appearance and eyes that were hungry and filled with curiosity. Of course the latter was Ome and the other IJ, the both stood beside Afo who was still staring, he parted his beautiful lips and finally spoke.
"My mom wasn't the best but she thought me something really important before she died...." IJ listened silently as Afo spoke in a calm voice.
"NEVER GROW UP TO BE ME.." after these words left Afo's mouth IJ was happy that Afo had finally began to come out of his bubble since the incident. Since Afo came back he had been quiet, never spoke unless spoken to but never wore a sad expression either rather he just stared calmly.
"Let's go home" she spoke with an enchanting voice.
"Um.." Afo let out a grunt in agreement as they turned to leave.

` hi logbook, it's been a while since I've left the hospital, things haven't been really at all, well I don't blame anyone I just blame the idiot writing my story since I don't really know about God but I'm sure there's someone writing my story and is definitely trying to give me a sad protagonist backstory`

Afo gently wrote down on his logbook as on the table in his room. He continued..

Since Afo's return, he decided to take IJ's suggestion and give it out, after two weeks he was finally clear... well to an extent he was back on his feets. He had stopped going to school for classes which IJ nagged on and on about but he didn't listen and the semester exams came which Afo finally left the house to school, wrote his exam's and after the Christmas celebration the results were out and he came out with a hundred percent in all subjects like usual.
He had spent the passed three months on a project which IJ supported and stopped nagging him about classes since he was good at studying. The project was simple or to Afo it was, it was to go deeper into trionics so as to replace his missing limbs with mechanical ones. He had been a fan of a certain soldier with mechanical arms that his name contained a particular season of the year.
So since truck-kun was nice enough to make that dream come true, he had spent a lot of the money received on the project but he found out that if he kept on pursuing this project his current wealth would not be enough. He was luckily enough to receive sponsorship from a particular tech company in the US with the best of minds assisting him on the project. How did they find him you ask, well Ome snuck in to record a video of the prototype of the trionic arm he had made and failed due to slow receptors.
She decided to post it on her page just to prove she had a cool brother only to get an uninvited guest who brought the current development. Of course they are yet to complete the project so far but it had taken a huge steps that with Afo's level of intelligence with an IQ of 140, some might say that IQ was not a good measure of intelligence.
Why?
Because when it came to success in life emotional intelligence was much more useful that was why Afo had done a lot to control the emotional part of himself so as to be as rational as possible.
One might want to ask why did Afo decide to get a new prosthetic, it was simple he felt more comfortable that way and he was a huge comic fan, and most importantly Afo didn't plan on quiting basketball, yes he might have lost his original drive of wanting to surpass his friend in basketball now he just wanted to be able to play for his current family, that's why despite missing two limbs Afo had never once slack in his training in the passed few months.
He felt that the moment he stopped he would lose himself, yes it was hard to dribble in his current state but Afo could still make a three pointer shot even with his eyes closed and now he planned to be able to dribble once more with his limbs back together.

Afo stopped writing as IJ entered into his room in a white tight dress that made her breath taking. The dress exposed a little bit of her thighs and a little bit of her cleavage that made Afo's brain processing speed slow down for a few seconds. Seriously IJ had spent a while In her room contemplating if she could stand next to Afo looking like she was while Ome urged her it was the best choice.
Afo regained his composure and immediately spoke:
"Wow! You look... Stunning"
"Thanks" she did her best to hide her excitement and succeeded in doing just that.
"Ome is out waiting we should go"
"Sure.." Afo stood up and grabbed an apple from the table and followed her. Ome was right in the living room waiting as the due emerged as they all head out.

A slick black vehicle stopped in a parking spot as Afo emerged from the back of the car followed by Ome and IJ , he knew how to drive but because he wasn't "18" he was refused his license so he had to rely on a driver. The four entered into the park and spent the evening on various events like any normal family with the driver acting as a guard.
After a while when they were about to go on the Ferris wheel Ome came up with a topic she had been ignoring for a while with a ridiculous suggestion saying:
"Hey! Kolo"
"Yes tiny.." Afo turned his gaze from the glowing ferris wheel to the cute Ome with an ice cream cone.
"I'm not going on the ride with you two."
"Why?" Afo asked confusingly.
"You know I use to love you right" Afo was hurt by the word was and asked.
"Was so you don't love me no more?" IJ and the bodyguard (driver) was surprisingly by the weird development.
"Yes like love love you, what you expect me to still love you? Gross! Pervert big brother is into loli's, I knew it I should call the cops" she joked.
"Stop it" Afo retorted to her taunt.
In fact a few months ago when Afo offered to be her guardian there was the problem of her saying she loved Afo and preferred Afo didn't see her as a sister but after a while she realized her feelings were just due to Afo being the first ever nice person she knew and it was nothing more than her wanting to keep that feeling forever.
"Anyways you and IJ haven't proceeded in your relationship in forever, so~ I've decided that there's a ferris wheel and in romance movies..." She pointed to the Ferris wheel and the two with a look saying 'you know what I mean'.
"What in God's name are.." IJ was about to nag at Ome when Afo cut her short.
"I needed to speak to IJ personally anyways so I think it's a good idea" IJ tilted her head to Afo and Afo gave her a gaze that made the two part ways.

In the dark cool eveny, a perfect pair anyone would agree to be the perfect couple in the world were seated together in silence. After a while after finally broke the silence while staring into the sky.
"I don't think there's a future for.." he didn't even finish his sentence before he was interrupted.
"Why because you think I won't accept the ...."
"That's not just it.." they had been avoiding this topic and now they were finally discussing it since it's was finally on the table. Both could feel their own hearts thumping but kept their facial expressions calm.
"I don't know if you have the same feelings for me but I still love you no matter what"
Afo felt pained listening to her talk but he still kept his calm looking into the sky.
"I've always loved you so it doesn't matter what happened to you, we are both working together to fix our so called imperfections" she spoke in an alluring tone that Afo was hearing for the first time but Afo refused to look at her and continued to look into the sky as if looking for something.
He felt like it was going to be pointless to reciprocate her feelings despite his feeling for her but he was scared, he was so scared of what might happen he didn't refuse her feelings but there was a problem Afo hated male protagonists who acted out of fear mostly in these kinda situations.
"I'm scared IJ".
"Scared I'll betray your hea.." before she finished her sentence Afo interrupted so as to clarify things.
"That's not what I mean, I'm not making excuses but I think something bad is about to happen..." Afo fell silent as IJ continuously looked at him, after a few seconds he continued.
"A few months back I started hearing this voices, at first I thought it was a mistake or my mind playing games on me but that's wasn't the case
The voices reoccurred on the day of the incident as well and after then it stopped but three weeks ago it became serious, I hear the voices vividly these days and I'm not being a chunni or something.
But the thing is I feel like I'm forcibly being pulled somewhere and I don't know how to handle that" he finally turns to look at her, he stared into her crystal xler eyes.
"I don't know if I'm loosing my mind or it's actually happening but I just want to tell you that you can move on without..." This time around IJ was the one who interrupted him
"Please stop speaking, I don't know what is going on but I want to let you know that it doesn't matter what happens tomorrow... I just want to know how you feel about me today cause I love and I'll keep loving you.
And if you tell me right here right now that you don't love me then I'll acce.." before she could finish her statement Afo grabbed her face and kissed her. This was his first time and he was glad it was with her. After a while their lips parted, IJ was beet red to the point a tomato would be jealous of the color of her face.
Afo on the other hand tried to keep his cool as always, IJ tried to keep her heart under control and finally spoke breaking the awkward silence one more.
"You still didn't say anything to me" she looked into Afo's eyes as if searching for something, she wanted to hear Afo tell her he loved her. She wanted to be certain that she wasn't just having empty hope.
"I love you IJ, I don't know what might happen to me tomorrow but so long as I'm beside you and I'm still me... Then I'll never stop loving you" Afo felt like the word he just uttered were cringed but he had to say it and at the same time keep his cool, IJ with a smile this time took the initiative and kissed Afo.
Afo was surprised and it could be seen with his eyes obviously this time, he totally lost the cool he had been keeping and accepted her kiss, it was the most ecstatic night of his life, he was scared and at the same time excited and so was IJ, bit IJ could tell that Afo was mostly trembling from fear, fear of something she didn't know.

IJ and Afo rendezvoused with Ome and the driver, they had their hands locked like a couple and Ome could tell that things went out as planned so she gave them a smile, the driver hurriedly went to bring the vehicle to meet up with them while the trio strolled down the street chattering. It was really a beautiful evening, Afo wished this life would go on forever and so did IJ.
But Afo knew deep down it wasn't going to work out that way... And just to confirm that they ran into IJ's elder brother with a two other boys all smoking next to a red car. IJ tightened her grip and as if to assure her Afo pulled her to ignore them but just like Afo knew, the script would not proceed as he wanted. IJ's brother intercepted them.
"You've been gone for a while and now you are playing house?" He said with a broad smile.
"Get out of my way please" Afo responded without a trace of him shrinking back, he had eyes that had no trace of fear not in himself currently he knew the standards and he wasn't some OP protagonist, no he was too rational for that he believed in his body guard who should arrive in no time.
"Look at this fucker! Guys do you see this" he began to ridicule Afo as the other two decided to join. Ao had to buy time so he decided it was smart to initiate a conversation.
"*Sigh* what in the heavens do you want?" He might have initiated a conversation but he had no qualm to back down if a fight ensued and his eyes said it all.
"What I want, kikik" he let out the normal side character antagonistic laugh that pissed Afo off because of how cliche it felt.
(" God why am I stuck in this event?") Afo thought, he was calm but his eyes became bloodshot the moment that IJ's brother grabbed IJ's hair like she was her plaything.
"What I want is my toy you see" he said as he looked into IJ's eyes lecherously.
"We knew you were a psycho bro, but don't you think it's about time we went three" one of the annoying youths added
"Hey, hey I'm here too you know" Ome could not bear the scene and shouted:
"Get you dirty hands of her" IJ's brother gently tilted his head to look at the little girl like she was nothing but a fledgling.
"You mean this thing" he yanked the hair once more causing IJ to wince in pain, at that moment Afo did something he didn't expect, he grabbed IJ's brother hand forcing him to release her, the force he was applying caused them to hear something breaking and that was the sound of his wrist bone.
Afo's body began to emanate a blue thick light energy, everyone there were surprised at the event unfolding in front of their eyes, Afo's leg muscles tightened and so did his left arm muscle, he dug his right foot into the ground and swung IJ's brother to the side slamming him into the red vehicle.
"Eh??" IJ's brother didn't understand what just happened, his body had compressed into the vehicle and he could feel life seeping out of him, every one including Afo was shocked at the event. At that moment....

The voices became clearer and persistent, it echoed over and over in Afo's head, Afo staggered away from IJ trying to tell understand what just happened but the voices wouldn't let him think.
"No, leave me alone... He out of my head..." Everyone there were shocked, the thick blue light that were coming out increased like fumes, IJ was surprised, she wanted to go and help Afo but she was too confused to move. All of reality seemed weird at the moment.
The guys though maybe this was as a result of their smoking and drugs, they couldn't understand. Afo's shout of rejection didn't end, the blue energy thickened as time passed. The it happened, a huge thick cloud like thing formed behind IJ and Ome but the didn't know, Afo stared blankly at the thick blue cloud, it was reminiscent of a storm cloud..No it looked like the portals Afo had normally seen in the CW flash series.
The moment he realizes this a strange creature emerged from it, Afo's eyes widened and so did the boys, their legs trembled and they fell on their asses. One even spoiled himself on the spot, in realising something was wrong immediately turned around only to meet more surprised, the creature only a step from IJ brandished it's claw's and slashed for IJ and she was frozen in place in fear.
"IJ!!"
Afo shouted and with and unimaginable speed narrowed the distance and with his left hand he pushed IJ out of the way only to deliver a spear to the strange creature sending them both into the portal.
"Afo!!!" Both IJ and Ome screamed simultaneously as the portal disappeared, IJ who had fallen on her ass due to Afo pushing her aside was filled with shock, she couldn't explain what had just happened, then that is when he came... The driver packed by the side and came rushing to ask what had happened.
