"What are we doing here?" She asked. She never went to this section of the mall.
"Well, I have a friend who was having a housewarming party and I was thinking of giving him some things." Augustus found a perfect excuse.
Housewarming party?
How could she believed it? When the man was always living in Country S. And for the so called friend, except for Lander and Brandon, she didn't meet any of his "friends."
"You have a friend here?" She asked.
"Of course, I have friends... Or you can say, business partners..." Augustus said seemingly confident.
Louise narrowed her eyes. She knew that this man had been lying about the housewarming party but she chose to see what he really was up to. She could vaguely guess his intention and she wanted to test it out.
"Ohhh. Okay, then we should chose things carefully." She said thoughtfully.
"Okay. You can choose." He said as he dragged her to the different sections. She then smiled happily thinking that the man has thought out everything for her.
They walked around slowly and looked around carefully.
The store clerk was delighted upon seeing them as she could discern that she had a filthy rich costumer today.
She enthusiastically greeted them and volunteered to show them around.
"No need for now. I will call you if we do have concerns." Augustus declined the offer.
"Okay Sir... Happy shopping." The store clerk said and walked back to her working station. She just waited for them to finish checking things and she will get their handyman to prepare their orders.
Augustus happily accompanied her as she sauntered around.
Anyway, they have a whole day and the penthouse could wait until evening.
They walked along the corridors of the household section and Louise became inspired. She found things that she quite liked. She looked at the man beside her and he knew that whenever she looked at him, she was asking if she could buy the things.
"If you want it, you can buy it." He said with doting.
"Okay." She happily hopped around while he followed her.
Then she went to the bed and mattress section. She wanted to see if there are suitable bed but when she looked, she didn't like the thickness and the quality.
Augustus seemed to know what's on her mind and said, "I'll order the same bed we had in country S."
"Why? You want to give bed to your friend too?" Louise asked as if she didn't guessed his surprise. She wanted to tease him a bit.
"Yup. I want the same bed." He said with amusement. He then knew that his surprise is now foiled..
