Louise stayed silent. She didn't explain to Shirley why she hated that woman nor about Augustus.
Shirley didn't press on and the car sped along the way. They talked about other things happily for a long time.
After some time, the black limousine stopped over in a corner of a food stall .
"Miss, we're here." The driver reminded.
"I want to eat a lot. I'm so hungry..." Shirley whined and opened the door to go out.
"Me too." Louise nodded and she followed her out. They needed a good meal for the night and experimenting new things are good to them.
They were walking on the streets and found the place novel. They kept pointing at the cheap items on the stalls.
Louise and Augustus had been texting while Shirley looked around like a curious kid.
"Look! Look! Louise look! The shirts are pretty..." Shirley exclaimed as she spotted a shop that sells clothes. The mannequins on the display wore shirts that has a cute print on it. This made Shirley want to buy.
So she entered the shop.
"Miss, how much is the shirt?" Shirley asked the store teller.
"It's 50 dollars..." The teller said. She noticed that the woman across him wore high-end pieces. Her shirt alone could cost her entire month of salary.
"Give me 3 of those." Shirley pointed out the design she wanted.
"Okay." The teller went to the store room and packed 3 pieces of the shirt then went back to the counter.
" Here. Are you paying by card or cash?" The teller asked.
Shirley passed her regular card to the teller and made the payment.
Louise didn't enter the store and waited outside.
From time to time, many men and women tried to check out on her as she was too fair. Her straight black hair was a direct contrast of her skin. This made the people around her have a second look. Louise seemed to be oblivious to all of these as she was focused on her phone.
"Don't stay out too long. Country P is not that safe..." Augustus reminded her on the text.
"I know. We will go back to the dorm after eating." She replied.
As she was texting and her face couldn't be seen, a man approached her.
"Hello Miss..."
Louise looked up only to find that a man tried to talk with her. This man clearly has no good intentions towards her.
She raised her brows gently.
The man laughed as he thought that he caught her attention and maybe he can take her out to play.
Louise didn't respond to him. She looked towards her phone waiting for Augustus to reply.
The man chuckled as he thought that Louise tried to flirt with him
If Louise knew this, she will give him an eye roll or even a punch.
Shirley walked out from the store. It was this scene she stumbled upon.
"Hey! What are you doing?" She asked. She was alarmed by the man who was trying to strike a conversation with Louise. He's clearly up to no good.
The man looked towards Shirley and found that Louise had a companion.
Perfect! He can bring the two for fun.
"I just want to befriend her. Why?" The man answered in a frivolous way.
He had been in the streets for how many years and he knew how to charm women.
"Get the f*ck off!" Shirley hollered. She felt that the man had no kind intentions.
"What are saying Miss? I just want to be your friend..." The man seemed angry.
"Who wants to be your friend?" Shirley dragged Louise to her side. It made Louise yelp in surprise as her focus was on her phone.
"Let's go. We have to find something to eat before the dorm closes."
The man was fuming with anger as his intention was shed. He found the girl quite beautiful but then, he didn't even strike a conversation with her yet she was dragged away with her hot tempered friend. He walked away and never bothered them. He wanted to find a new prey.
After that small episode, the two of them found a small stall and entered.
They ordered barbecue and 2 cans of beer.
They ate happily and as they walked back towards the car, they found the man who tried to strike a conversation with Louise. He was trying to molest a girl in the secluded part of the alley.
Shirley signaled her bodyguards to separate the man from the girl.
Upon seeing the bodyguards of Shirley, Louise was quite convinced that this woman has a notable background.
