Lucia abruptly stopped.
She turned towards Louise who was sitting on the bed.
"What do you want to know?" Lucia asked back. She wanted to tell her everything but she was afraid that it might shock her and went back to coma. She walked back towards the bed and sat beside her. But that video...
After thinking for a while, Louise stared at Lucia.
"Is my mother still alive?" She asked.
"No. She was dead already when I was hired by your father." Lucia answered honestly.
"So I am an orphan now..." Her voice trailed off. She diverted her eyes to the white scenery outside.
"You still have me. I will be by your side always." Lucia tried to console the woman.
Louise just nodded and briefly stayed silent.
"Then who was Whitney?" Her question made Lucia stunned. She didn't know where to begin as she didn't know the specific details about the woman.
Lucia hesitated for a while but firmed her resolve after.
"She... She was the fiancee of your Dad..." She couldn't find another explanation. It was on the news when Jonas Morgan announced his remarriage. So, it was correct to say that Whitney was his fiancee.
Fiancée?
This word stunned Louise. She suddenly clasped her head.
"It hurts!" She exclaimed.
Lucia hastily hugged her and patted her back. She tried to calm her down but the woman was clasping her head and close to pulling her hair.
Panicked by her sudden reaction, she pressed the emergency bell beside Louise's bed.
Augustus came running in.
"What happened?!!" He hollered.
"I..." Lucia didn't know what really happened. She thought that it was okay to let her know about Whitney but her reaction seem too big.
Without bothering Lucia's reply, he hastily carried her downstairs.
"Hugo! Prepare the car! Quick!" He shouted along the staircase.
Hugo rushed to the garage and find some car. He drove it out and Augustus got inside while carrying Louise.
Without Augustus' instruction, he drove away and sped up.
"It hurts. It hurts..." Louise kept uttering same phrase while clasping her head.
"Shh.. It will be okay. We'll be going to the hospital soon. Okay, don't worry. I'm here." He tried to pry open her hands and remove it from her head but he was afraid that he might pull her hair while doing so.
He tried to ease her frowning brows but her tears gushed out from the corner of her eyes.
Hugo didn't look at the backseat, afraid that it might distract him from driving. He focused on the road and overtook many cars along the way.
"No... No... Don't take my Daddy away! Don't!..." She incoherently mumbled as she cried.
