Taken aback, Jonas stared at the pile of papers thrown on the floor.
Stacy stopped walking but didn't look back.
"You can think for yourself Mr. Morgan." After saying, she left the dilapidated place.
Luda walked inside the warehouse without much emotion on his face.
"She actually wanted you to sign the relinquishment papers for the Morgan Group." Luda said coldly. His tone was far from the friendly tone he had few moments earlier.
Jonas, shocked to the core, trembled as he picked up the papers and read it page by page. He didn't miss a thing but as he read, his face changed visibly from shock to anger then resentment.
He still didn't get why Dorothy aka Stacy Chang do this.
The relinquishment paper that she prepared included all of the minor and major investments and projects the group had. It was like passing the throne to them.
After a few moments, Jonas picked up the pen and signed the documents one by one.
Luda looked at him. He couldn't believe that a wise businessman like Jonas Morgan signed it like that.
He gave up all his powers.
"Encash the cheque now or it will be voided once I signed all of this." Jonas reminded him calmly.
How formidable his mental fortitude! He can still remind Luda something like that?
Luda chuckled with amazement.
"Don't worry about it Mr. Morgan. I can still find ways even if the cheque will be voided. You just have to care wether you live or not."
Jonas smiled. He said nothing. He knew that this man who ran a mercenary group can find ways.
"Are you shocked?" Jonas asked as he piled the documents.
"More or less." Luda spared him a glance.
"The company is an empty shell. I long moved all my assets." Jonas spilled.
"Hahaha! As expected of the great Jonas Morgan." Luda found it ridiculous. That woman spent a huge amount to hire them and yet all she got was an empty company.
"Aren't you afraid that I will tell her?" Luda tested the man.
"No. I know you won't." Jonas said with belief. He knew that Luda is cruel but he has bottom line. The secrets from the men whom he killed were still secrets until their deaths.
"I'm honoured for the trust Mr. Morgan." Luda sarcastically said.
Jonas didn't mind.
"Just shoot me. Here." Jonas pointed his head.
Luda smiled and pulled the hand gun from his waist. He pointed his gun to him but the man was still calm.
"How cruel of you Mr. Morgan." Luda commented.
This man is ruthless and he liked it.
"I just don't want to experience prolonged pain." Jonas chuckled.
"I already made the arrangements so, it's okay for me to die today." He added.
"If you say so Mr. Morgan." Luda said with out much emotion. He added a silencer at the nuzzle and clicked the pistol.
Jonas rolled off the floor lifeless.
Blood flowed out from the hole in his head and his eyes closed.
It was 7 pm.
