When the car arrived at the entrance of the house, Sharon stepped on the brakes and slowly stopped the car.
June was still in a daze in the backseat of the car and did not notice that it had stopped.
"Mom, we're home. Get out of the car." Sharon parked the car, unbuckled her seatbelt, and turned around to call her.
June came back to her senses and wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes. "Don't tell Wallace and your father about this."
"Mom, don't worry. As long as you don't find trouble with me, I won't say anything." Sharon didn't have the twisted mentality of building her happiness on the pain of others, even if June was someone she hated.
