"When the dishes are served, I'll test the poison for you first." Wallace followed Sharon into the private room and sat opposite her.
The first dish was an appetizer— Pufferfish skin. The small bowl was filled with crystal clear fish skin silk. It was accompanied by green side dishes and a unique sauce.
"What's this sauce?" Sharon asked.
"This is grapefruit vinegar." The attendant placed the dishes on the table and politely left.
"Honey, I'll test the poison for you first," Wallace said with a smile.
Wallace picked up a piece of fish skin with his chopsticks, dipped it in grapefruit vinegar, and placed it in his mouth.
"How is it?" Sharon looked at him nervously.
"It's especially delicious." Wallace deliberately craved her.
"Really?" Sharon smiled and grabbed Wallace's hand. "Hubby, do you feel uncomfortable? Do you need me to call the emergency hotline for you?"
