Su Wan fled.
She did not return to the villa that night. Instead, she contacted Xia Jing.
When Xia Jing picked up the call, her voice was somewhat low and suppressed with a hint of breathing. However, she still realized that something was wrong when Su Wan first spoke.
Xia Jing's tone was also filled with urgency. "Wan wan, did something happen?"
"Mmhmm, where are you now?"
"I'm home. I'm not working. If you need me, go find…" Xia Jing's voice trailed off.
Then there was a buzzing sound. Su Wan even heard a stranger's voice. She realized that it might be inconvenient for Xia Jing.
Su Wan then said, "It's nothing. I can handle it myself."
After Xia Jing heard this, she panicked. She pulled the dishonest man away and sat up on the bed. As she looked for her clothes, she said hurriedly, "Wan wan, where are you? I can go look for you right now."
