Jing Chen did not seem to expect that it would be Su Wan. His hand that was working paused for a moment before he looked up in surprise. He quickly got up and walked around Su Wan. He held her hand and asked, "This is the first time you've come to the company to look for me since you returned to the country. Why? Has the sun risen from the west?"
Su Wan found it funny. "If I come to your company every day, I'm afraid you won't be able to do your job."
When Jing Chen was working, Su Wan had always adhered to the principle of not disturbing him if she could. Apart from coming over once or twice to take a look, she did not want Jing Chen to delay his work because of her.
"Not to that extent," Jing Chen retorted. "What if I'm more motivated to work… with you by my side?"
Jing Chen wanted to say that "work to provide for you", but when he thought of the scale of the Su Corporation, the words that were about to come out of his mouth immediately changed.
