"Okay, I'll be back soon," Shu Pan said as she grabbed her bag and stood up.
She headed straight for the lingerie counter.
Actually, she was very nervous inside, but never mind, she was going all in.
"Miss, may I help you with anything?" the sweet voice of the saleslady rang out.
"Uh... I'll just take a look first," Shu Pan said, pursing her lips and appearing somewhat constrained.
"Sure, you can take a look; these are all our new arrivals," the saleslady said, pointing towards a shelf not too far away.
Shu Pan looked in the direction of the voice, her face flushing at the sight of the row of gossamer-thin garments.
"Do you have anything a bit more conservative?" Shu Pan asked somewhat euphemistically, thinking that wearing those garments would be almost like wearing nothing.
"Yes, we have our classic collection over here, come take a look," the saleslady said enthusiastically.
Soon, several exquisite nightgowns were laid out before Shu Pan.
