"Honey, what's troubling you?" Wen Chi asked cautiously. He had just been fine last night, so why was he gloomy today?
Gu Huanhuan was usually straightforward. She had intended to confront him about whether he had been going on dates with beauties behind her back, but she thought better of it and held back. She hadn't pointed it out initially, and now it was too late.
"It's nothing, I'm just a bit tired today," Gu Huanhuan's tone remained the same.
"Where's my sweet baby?" Wen Chi asked.
"Just fell asleep." Wen Chi asked one question, and Gu Huanhuan answered only that much. Even someone as slow as Wen Chi could tell that Gu Huanhuan was angry with him. Usually, if there was something bothering her, she wouldn't stop chattering about it.
But he hadn't upset her, had he? Their phone conversation last night had been perfectly normal.
