Chapter 11 - Constance - Power

I watched Dean smirk at Bambi as she ran inside. He turned to me with a goofy grin.

"Never seen a man naked?" He asked playfully, stalking toward me.

I just smiled at him as he came closer. I could smell his arousal and it made me purr softly. My tattoos started to swirl and change to a pinkish-red hue.

He placed his hand softly on my cheek. My body started to radiate power and my eyes started losing focus. I almost fell to my knees, but my body never hit the floor. Instead, it was wrapped in Dean's strong arms.

He was talking to someone behind him, but I couldn't hear anything over the powerful hum I was hearing in my ears. It wasn't until I felt the softness of a bed underneath me did I start to comprehend the goings-on around me.

"What happened?" I asked, my voice shaky.

Bambi grabbed my hand and I felt instantly better. My mind cleared away all the fog.

"How did you do that?" I asked sitting up instantly. She looked at me confused.

"What are you talking about?"

"I feel healed," I looked down at my skin and all my bruises and scars were gone. Years of abuse vanished from my skin.

She also started to look at me, realizing what had happened. She looked down at her hands, confused. "I don't know. I wanted you to feel better and to heal quicker."

I hadn't realized that Dean had left the room until he had come running back in with Dr. Gwen. He looked confused but ran to my side.

"No!" I shouted shying away from him. "Don't touch me, I don't know what'll happen."

Bambi stopped him in his tracks, to defend me. He growled at her and she shoved him back harder. "Dean, get the fuck out of my room!" She screamed at him.

He stopped growling and came to his senses. "I'm sorry," he left the room.

Gwen approached Bambi slowly, knowing Angel was close to the surface. "I am no threat to the princess." She bowed and kneeled submitting to Bambi.

She nodded at her and let her by. "What happened when he touched you?" She asked as she came to look at me.

"Raw power, I couldn't handle it. Something went wrong when he touched me." I replied quietly. "It wasn't supposed to feel like that."

Gwen looked me over, "you're healthier than you were when you came here this morning. Perhaps I should get Sharon." She said quietly, more to herself than to me.

"Would she know what's wrong?" I asked.

She nodded. "She would know where to start looking. I will call for her."

I thanked her as she left the room. I looked over at Bambi who still had her back to me. Standing as a warrior would. Facing the danger to protect me.

I walked up behind her and wrapped my arms around her belly. She leaned back into me and sighed. I decided to be daring as I slowly inched my left hand up her belly, my thumb grazing the underside of her plump breast.
