Rafael stared at the path with a frown when all of the nobles had started to collect on the finish line except Hazel. He had been too sure that she was going to win but why was she not there?
His eyes narrowed when he noticed the smirk on the faces of other nobles, especially the duke who looked at him with challenging eyes.
That glow in his eyes, he was sure it gave an ominous feeling.
"What did you do to her?" asked Rafael with a flower but the man just laughed it off as if he had heard a great joke.
"What did I do? No! The question is what can I do to the daughter of the royal palace and the one and only heir to the throne? I am just one of her servants!" said the man with a cold laugh when Rafael's eyes turned darker.
He was going to pounce on the man and snap his neck and then savor his blood to teach him a lesson before he heard the sound of footsteps coming from another direction.
