Izzy hung up before Julian could even protest and he ended up looking at Roz with his uncovered eye as he handed the phone back. "She says she's coming here then we're going back to my place with takeout and the two of you are going grocery shopping."
"I heard," she replied simply. "She's always been loud on the phone."
"…sorry for ruining your Saturday."
"I can get my homework done at your place as easily as I can at the library. I'm less excited about the grocery shopping but I'll be fine as long as I can get myself some fruit rollups."
It took a lot to ruffle Roz. She was probably telling the truth, which made him feel slightly better. He knew he had ruined both her Saturday and Izzy's though by not thinking things through properly.
