Julian stood there unsure what to do next now that the kids were gone who knew when. Izzy did though. She rounded on him since her questions hadn't been answered. Her hands were on her hips and her expression meant business.
"Julian Shea, how did I die? I assume Roz told you since she's your Mini Me."
"Trust me, you don't want to know," he said grimly. "They're handling it; isn't that what matters?"
"You're leaving my fate to a bunch of children?!"
"Wasn't that what you were doing anyway? I don't see what the problem is."
Izzy huffed. "Yeah because that was when I thought it was a matter of stopping me from going somewhere at a specific time and nothing else. The way you two were talking earlier makes it seem like there's more to it than that. What exactly needs investigating?"
Julian sighed. She was going to keep badgering him until he told her the truth. Maybe he could try to soften the blow somehow.
