Rosalind wanted to go back to having her whole family again more than anything in the world. She wanted her siblings to be happy, her dad to be mentally sound, and her mom to be alive.
Having Izzy back partially was bittersweet. It hurt not being remembered by your own mother even if you hadn't been born yet.
"We had a lot of fun together before you died," Edison added. "He was a good dad and a really mushy husband. You liked that though. We were all happy so don't discount him just yet, okay?"
She sighed again. "I'll do my best. Come on, let's get ready for bed."
Rosalind was still worried about this but did as her mother said. She desperately hoped that today wouldn't ruin everything for them. That there was a chance to turn this potential relationship around before they were supposed to get married in five years.
That was a lot of time…this was fixable, wasn't it? She had to believe that.
