Getting no response from Jeanne, the assassin became more impatient. The blade that had been pressed against Jeanne's neck pushed forward, and an inch more, it would graze Jeanne's tender skin.

"No! Don't be rash! Don't be rash! Jeanne, just tell her what she wanted," Mo Qingshui yelled anxiously.

Barton remained silent.

Jeanne swallowed her saliva in the dark and suddenly said, "General Barton, I don't expect that someone esteemed like you can stoop so low and send someone to threaten me like this!"

Barton replied in a calm tone, "Little Jeanne, this matter really has nothing to do with me."

"Really? But isn't it you who wants to know where Bailey is the most?" Jeanne growled in pain. It seemed that her actions incurred the assassin's displeasure, causing her to push the knife further.
