After finding out that he had helped some person reincarnate, Malorn decided that it was time to forcefully expand his territory. As such he set his sights on The Dark City that was nearby. Not only was the city nearby, but it was a pretty big city in the first place being equivalent to what could be considered a medium sized. This could generate for him plenty of negative energy as well as expand his territory even further not to mention free foot soldiers for him to start expanding outwards even more.
And so Malorn started planning as well as building a new spawner outside. The spawner was a green tear in space that periodically every 5 minutes would eject a zombie or skeleton with a crossbow out of it which would then just shuffle around in the area. Of course it was not a cheap buy.

"I hope that it was worth it as well as hopefully it generates enough of an army before the city takes notice. What's starting to worry me though is the fact that my emotions seem to be disappearing. I do wonder if this is the side effect of becoming an undead and who knows I may eventually stop speaking to anything other than myself."
Malorn, having just spent a great amount of experience that he had been saving up, was slightly worried. If the attack and siege and destruction of the city goes as planned his power will rise. But if it goes poorly and even possibly fails, he could end up creating more issues for himself. Now he could wait for the land to slowly spread out that way but that's just waiting he doesn't want to do.
"System, how long would it take for my territory to spread to Dark City?"
[At the current pace, 20 years]
So yeah, Malorn doesn't feel like waiting 20 years to spread all the way there. Because even worse then the waiting would be the opportunity he is giving them to prepare or run away.

As he sits here slowly building up his under the army elsewhere in the world there is a land of light. This place of light is where the original Vatican used to be. And at this moment there is a young man wearing a white pair of pants, shirt, and shoes with white skin and white hair. This young man is also standing in front of a humanoid white light, a shadow of light that is brighter than the surrounding area in humanoid form that stands about 7 ft tall.
The young man is called, Ryan. And currently he's speaking to his master whom to most is secretly called The Saint but is actually known as the God of Light, Lucifiel. This God had come to Earth many millennia ago and even started a religion revolving around one true God.
"Remember Ryan, you must prepare for the coming darkness as it appears this planet has spawned an extremely powerful divine candidate. It feels like this dimension's absolute God of Death. You are the candidate for the absolute God of Light of this dimension. Now then, go to your room and begin trying to draw Divinity from the world. I can only stay and help you for only a few hundred more years before the suppression forces me out and bars me from ever entering without a god of this dimension to let me back in."
After listening to Lucifiel, Ryan bowed once and left. Standing still and watching Ryan return to his quarters, Lucifiel let out a sigh. He had been here for thousands of years watching over this world, waiting for it to give birth to its own gods. Unfortunately he has been unsuccessful at keeping even extremely weak evil gods out of it.
"I wonder what The Reaper is planning to do about this Death God that seems to be rising. The new God of Death provided he rises will undermine Reaper's authority that he wields. And as much as I don't like God's of Death, this one seems like an Absolute or an Aspect. An aspect God of Death has been missing from the pantheon of the highest order of the multiverse."
After talking to himself a bit, Lucifiel turns and looks in the direction where Malorn is. He stands there for 5 minutes looking in that direction before with a flash of white light, he disappears.

On another side of things The Reaper is more or less unhappy. Just as he had been relaxing waiting for news from Danse, one of his children came to him. Normally he wouldn't care that much from one of his direct children visiting him. But the news that was brought wasn't a good piece. The area where that new dungeon is, is apparently the territory of an arising God.
To make matters worse is that this creature has a domain that could potentially become way more powerful than his. What's more is that this creature seems to be sending an undead swarm at the Dark City that's near. As such this information is causing The Reaper, a headache as he ponders whether or not he can even attempt to swing this in his direction of benefit.

"What do you mean there's lots of undead surrounding the damn city!? If there is, take them out already and don't let them get into the city! As the last thing we need is an undead infection here!"
The mayor of the Dark City is currently going through a trying time. He woke up that day assuming he'll have just have to fill out a mountain of paperwork as well as meet with the city council and local military installation on how to deal with the damn dungeon. Instead, he woke up to find out that the city is surrounded by a horde of undead that is currently trying to find its way in. That's on top of the fact that there are already some undead that are able to climb in because apparently there are undead creatures of all kinds that look like they were resurrected from the forest that's between the dungeon and the city. In fact the mayor is sweating as he listens to more reports of different types of undead have been found in the city including spiders that are the size of cars as well as listening to the fact that the blackened ground that is around the dungeon has started to appear in the city.
