The fire looked at me curiously. I could see it softening a bit. "I have a plan," I said. I had to look confident. It was the only way Fire could trust me. But I knew I could never trust Ateş again.
I had to be cautious and convince Ateş myself. "But first you have to let me talk to Brave."
Fire looked around. "There's no way to do that. We can't get out of here. There are men outside." He was speaking in a whisper.
I was undecided whether to take the phone out of my pocket or not. But I reached into my pocket and pulled out my phone. The fire was staring at me in surprise.
"If you stall the men outside, I can call Cesur. We both know that Cesur will find me tonight. At least he needs to know that I'm safe and he needs to take action to save your family."
