We had finished the painting course in Ezgi and Pasha Pasha returned home. We've been sitting quietly staring at the wall since we arrived.
"I thought you were together," I finally said. The only thing Ezgi was thinking at the moment was why Tolga was acting so distant and I was thinking that talking would be good for her.
"I thought so too," he said in obscurity. "Maybe I believed we were together." He rested his chin on the knees he pulled to himself.
"Maybe it was crowded and..."
"And he was ashamed of me," he concluded. I looked at Ezgi in despair. He had already begun to construct it in his mind.
"Don't be ridiculous, it wasn't like that."
"What was it like then, Asli?"
"I don't know," I said unconsciously. Because I really had no idea. Cesur's ignoring me was what he always did, but it was strange for us that Tolga was acting strangely towards Ezgi. That's why we were only questioning Tolga, not Cesur.
