Back at the abandoned building, the battle between the witches and Mr. McCray and his group has heated up as the whole building is filled with walking corps and no matter how many times they get rid of them, they just keep coming.
"We need to put an end to all this before we run out of gas" complain Mrs. Davis
"The only way to put a stop to all this is by getting rid of the witches but how are we supposed to do that when there are this many skeletons keeping us at bay" replies Mr. Davis who has his teeth gritted in anger.
Just as they were battling with the skeletons, one of the witches suddenly received a text message from the leader and a smile creep into her face before informing the others.
"Our leader has succeeded in retrieving the vessel".
"since he has succeeded in retrieving the vessel, then there is no reason for us to continue fighting with them, so let us get out of here" suggests one of the witches.
"exactly my point" replied the witch who received the text from the leader before turning to the group struggling as she said.
"There is no need for us to continue with this unnecessary fight for our leader has already retrieved the vessel and knowing the leader's personality, there is no way he is going to show mercy to those that annoyed him. So I suggest that you go look for those two who ran away with the vessel since their life is already at risk but if you still chose to battle with us, then so be" said the witch knowing fully well that there is no way they would be able to shake them off and if they decide to run away, it would only be a matter of time before they will lose their life to the vampire.
Hearing that their leader has already gotten the vessel they would need for the ceremony back, Mrs. Davis's heart skips a little as she begins to think about her daughter's safety.
"Put yourself together dear, there is no way their leader would be able to get the body back" said Mr. Davis when seeing his wife breaking down.
The witch let out a laugh when seeing that they do not believe the words he says.
"it's fine if you don't believe me but by the time we are done fighting here, then it would be too late for you to help them and you would have yourself to blame for it" she said.
Mr. McCray let out a sigh as he turns to the others.
"She's not lying guys so I suggest that we go look for the kids before things get out of control" said Mr. McCray after listening to the witch steady heartbeat.
After managing to convince the couple, Mr. McCray rushes towards the wall before punching it as he tries to create a hole big enough for them to pass through while Mr. Davis and his wife hold the skeleton back. After some time of smashing the wall, he was able to create a hole and they hurried out of the building without paying the witches any heed.
watching as they make their way out of the building, the witches couldn't help but let out a sigh as they now have some time to catch their breath before deciding to leave the building as well.
Running back to the town, Mr. McCray couldn't help but ask Mrs. Davis to try to call her daughter so as to know if they are okay and she agreed to it as she took at her cell phone to call her but no matter how she tries to get to Lydia, her line wasn't going through and she has to switch to tracking her whereabouts through GPS and it was only then that she pinpoint where she is which happened to be in the school.
After informing the group that they are inside the school premise, they begin to make haste and before long, they are already in front of the school gate where they could see the security guards laying on the ground unconscious, Mrs. Davis didn't bother to check on them as she passed through the gate which is already open before long by the witch leader before she hurriedly makes her way into the school with Mr. McCray and her husband following behind after making sure that the guards are alive.
After getting inside the building, Mr. McCray begins to sniff the air in the hope of catching Abel's scent only for him to catch the smell of blood.
"This way" he said with a frown before leading the way as he lead them into the alley where the smell is more concentrated.
Walking down the alley until they get to the locker room where they saw the two laying on the ground with Abel's head being buried deep on the ground. Mrs. Davis run down to her daughter before feeling her pulse to see if she is okay and it was only then that she was able to relax but it was not the same for Abel whose head was on the ground.
Getting down on his knees, Mr. McCray pulls his head out only to see that the hole has a lot of blood on it.
"We need to feed him with blood really quick" said Mr. McCray in a deep voice after seeing how weak Abel's body is.
"Here, I still have a blood bag on me" replied Mr. Davis who took out a blood bag from his backpack before passing it to Mr. McCray who quickly unsealed it before forcing it into Abel's mouth as he begins to feed him.
Before long his body that seem weak a moment ago begin to gain some color and it was only then did Abel finally gain consciousness as he opened his eyes only for him to see Mr. McCray staring at him and he couldn't help but mutter.
"I know that I have let you down".
