"I can't say I walk out of her hid out completely fine, my stomach has a hole on it when I left. By the way, why do you call her Arachne" asked Abel.
"Arachne is a human that was cursed by the gods in ancient time but somehow continue to produce offspring in order to exact vengeance for being cursed and for you to exact one could only mean she is only a new turn" reply Mr. McCray.
"You mean if it was not a new turn, I would have been dead by now" asked Abel as he felt cold run down his spine when thinking of the spider lady.
"That is for certain. By the way, how did you come across one in the first place" said Mr. McCray.
"She was an old lady that was struggling to go home with a heavy to carry home and that's when she saw me coming and called me to help her out" reply Abel as he begins to tell him about his encounter with the old lady and about how he was trapped inside the old building.
"So you were able to escape after hitting her in the head" asked Mr. McCray with his hand rested on the chin.
"It was only after hitting her on the head with the plank that I was holding was I able to get out of there" replied Abel.
"if I may ask, have you met her anywhere" asked Mr. McCray once more.
"No Mr. McCray, I haven't met her before" reply Abel as he shook his head.
"I bet you have but not with that weak body" said Mr. McCray.
"What do you mean by that" asked Abel with a confused look on his face.
"Arachne can change their body to that of their victim and for her to wait in the form of an old lady while you are heading home show that she knew you always go home late" reply Mr. McCray.
Abel went silent as he begin to think about what Mr. McCray just said and truly she seems to be the only one who was still outside at that time and that's when he remembered seeing a lady dressed in a red gown scrolling late at night when he was going home and he couldn't help but turn to Mr. McCray who was nodding his head like he knew what Abel was thinking about.
"I hope she didn't know about your identity as a vampire" asked Mr. McCray.
"No, I didn't use any of my ability that would sell me away" replied Abel.
"That's good because if she was to know about it, it would have put us in a tight corner but since that is the case, I believe she will be waiting for you to return will more people that way you will be saving her all the stress" said Mr. McCray.
"so are we going after her" asked Abel.
"since her strength has not grown that much, we should attack her now before she becomes a huge threat to us" reply Mr. McCray.
"that great, so when are we going after her" asked Abel in excitement as he had long to see Mr. McCray in action.
"You don't have any training today so you can go home but we are to meet at the grocery store around 8 pm" reply Mr. McCray.
"But my mum won't let me go out that late once I get home" said Abel.
"Then I will come get you, just tell me where you live" reply Mr. McCray.
After staying a little while to discuss about his progress with his ability, Abel was sent out of the office to continue with his studies before heading home after they were done for the day which happened to be a huge surprise for Maria and his mother who came home early.
"Is so unusual to see you at home at times like this" said his mother.
"I guess no one wants to be with him anymore which is why he had to come home this early" commented Maria.
"I am a member of this family alright so why are you surprised to see coming home early after school" asked Abel as he was getting annoyed by Maria.
"that is because you don't Abel" replies Maria with a frown as she places her hand on her chest while waiting for Abel to say something.
But her surprise he didn't instead he just turned away and begin to head to their room but before he could get far, his mother suddenly spoke up.
"A pretty lady came looking for you not quite long Abel. I didn't know you would have a friend that pretty".
"Pretty lady came looking for me" asked Abel in surprise as he turned to his mother.
Seeing the confused look on her son's face, she couldn't help but ask.
"What is the matter, are you surprised that she will come to look for you".
"Why wouldn't I be surprised mother, by the way, I will be heading out with my history teacher to get some food later in the evening" reply Abel before going into his room while not giving his mother the chance to ask questions.
She could only turn to Maria for answers since they both attended the same school but the reply that she got from her made her wonder if she adopted the two.
"Don't look at me, we are like total strangers when we are in school" was Maria replied before she also went into the room.
After Abel got into the room, the first thing he did was to go to the window and look outside to see if anyone was heading towards their home since he already know who the visitor was.
"How did she know where I live, could it be that she followed me one of those days while I was heading home. But I didn't feel like I was been followed" thought Abel to himself as he continue to look outside.
