While they were on their way to Freya's place, Lydia couldn't help but take a peek at Abel once in a while before taking her eyes off him. Seeing that he is not reacting when being looked at, she couldn't hold it in anymore and spoke out.
"Is he going to be okay after he met with this Freya person you talk of"?
"If there is anyone that I think would be able to heal him, it has to be her. For she is not just a good witch but a powerful one at that" replied Mr. McCray with a smile.
"I see, if I may ask, what did you do to offend her" asked Lydia.
"I don't think you are mature enough to know about such things yet" reply Mrs. Davis.
Seeing her mother cutting in, Lydia knew straight away that she has no right knowing what might have caused their quarrel although she already has a clue as to what it could be due to their actions and she decided to keep her mouth shut while watching as they continue driving in the lonely night.
