Chapter 1 - My Origins of Writing

Writing back in the days. I remember my journalism teacher -- Mr. Mendoza back in Meycauayan College. Several people enabled me to learn the craft -- Mrs. Josephine V. Legaspi, my high school adviser, Mrs. Aida Aguilos, my principal at St. Francis Academy, and my parents and my English teachers at all levels. But the teacher who really got me into writing was my grade school teacher at Dt. Mary's Academy who cited me for misbehaving and punished me by requiring me to write on and fill three large blackboards with the words -- "I will always listen and study my lesson".

An hour after class dismissal, I was still writing -- and I have been writing ever since.
