Thursday at the Big Apple, like every other day, a busy day.

Cars blaring, Sirens parading the streets.

Yes, another tragic incident has occurred.

An evidence tape kept the people from crossing over to the crime scene.

"He's dead," a paramedic said to a man standing close by.

"Unlucky" The man said as he shook his head in pity. "Get the body bag, let's wrap this up"

"Yes sir" the paramedic answered.

The man stood still looking at the building the dead man was pushed from,while gently burning his cigarette.

"Definitely not suicide sir" a lady said

He took another drag of his cigarette and gently exhaled.

"Definitely not"

"Gotten a hold on him?"

he asked, looking at her.

"Yes sir. he's on his way"

"Tell him to reroute ,meet me in the office"

"Yes sir" she answered.

The man walked slowly to his car ,took a long drag on his cigarette and tossed it away. Looked at the building one more time before driving away.

There's hustle and bustle at the NYPD, everyone busy with one thing or the other.

A phone line rings

"Hello, Madison here"

A voice yelled from the phone

"Where's my coffee Madison? and where the fuck is Grierson?'

"He's.. he's.."she stuttered trying to think of what to say.

"He's what?!!"

"He's here sir" she said as she saw Daniel,a handsome man, just the right height, dark hair and blue eyes walking in.

The man over the phone hung up.

Madison ran to meet Daniel with a file in her hand.

"Where have you been Daniel?, The Chief has been on my neck all day"

"That means you must be feeling relaxed," he said jokingly.

"Not funny" she said ,looking at him from her goggles.,Her sharp golden eyes, with her deep black hair, with jawline that can cut paper she's the definition of beauty

"Loosen up Madison," Daniel said, rubbing her chin.

"Brief me"He said picking a cupcake from Madison's desk

"That's my cake,"she said to him.

"The case" He replied.

Madison sighs and she opens the case file.

"Arno Merkovic,38 years of age, said to fall from the balcony of his apartment, today at 20:00, witness said it was suicide,but who just jumps from his apartment?" she said as she closed the file.

"A man who's tired of life" Daniel said as he saw the chief.

"We have a suspect in custody, Gary hugman"

Daniel saw the Chief waving at him angrily.

"That's my cue,gotta jet"

"Go get 'em tiger" Madison said to Daniel as he walked away.
