"What are you thinking?" Eve inquired.
"I infer who should move in there next."
"Hey, I haven't even moved out yet."
"You will. Ethan will perhaps ask you to share his huger lodgings instead of the other way around, don't you think?"
Eve shrugged. "He hasn't inquired me anything yet."
"Then why don't you inquire him?"
"Boy, you actually want me out of that lodgings, don't you?" Shirley laughed.
"Not at all. It simply appears unavoidable. But I marvel if he's scared to ask you right now. He desires support with the rent, and if his arrogance is anything like most men's—"
"Oh, God. You're right. I didn't even speculate of that. If anything, he's prouder than most. But we're certainly getting ahead of ourselves. We have a preliminary hearing to handle first."
"When is that?"
"Next week. It was deemed to be today, but because of the full moon, I postponed it."
