"Okay, one, two, three, go."
The two of them skidded into the first and second steps flawlessly, but when it reached to Ethan's bringing a step back and Eve's stepping onward, his step was far lengthier than hers, and he yanked her off equilibrium.
She staggered, but he grabbed her before she fell. "Oomph. Damn heels."
The instructor shook his head, slowly.
"Sorry. It wasn't you or your shoes, Eve. I know what I did was wrong," Ethan asserted.
The instructor bridged his arms. "And what was that?"
"I expanded my back leg too far."
The instructor cocked his head and scowled.
"You have front legs and back legs? No wonder you have two left feet." Ethan giggled nervously.
"Your companion has much shorter legs than you do. You must constantly compensate for that," the instructor was mumbling.
"Okay. Let's attempt again. I'll take minor steps."
