"He has his prestige to think of," Shirley let out.
"Whatever occurred to that columnist who was inflicting you so much trouble?"
Charlie smirked. "There's a happy effect to that story."
Shirley put up her eyebrows. "Truly? Have you heeded something recently?"
"Yeah, I haven't had an opportunity to confide you yet. The official called and asserted she would be finalizing the convalescence program shortly and that someone called Evan would pick her up."
"Oh, that's nice. I had the impression he was sick of her. It peeks like he's offering her another chance."
"Yes, and there's more. She needed him to return the envelope I left for her, unopened."
"Wow! It appears like she's surely embracing the program." Charlie shook.
