"Well?" Flinch tilted his head.
"Huh? Oh, yeah. She did and then she asserted she needed more time—to take care of a few stuff. We're waiting to notify
people until we generate the details."
"I see." Flinch squeaked hesitant.
"What does that mean?"
"Oh, nothing. I simply need to be convinced nobody is threading my daughter along. I'd despise to discern anyone hurt her."
The startling gaze in his sights froze Charlie to the bone.
"Because if anyone were to hurt her, I'd have to do something about it."
"Wait a moment. Are you imperiling me? I'm not going to hurt Shirley. In fact, she's more likely to hurt me. I'm head-over- heels in love with her."
"Good," Flinch let out, appearing contented. "Then may I make a suggestion?"
"Sure."
Why the hell not? This dialogue can't get much weirder.
"Hold your matrimony after dark. I'd love to attend. Candlelight matrimonies are gorgeous anyway. Don't you think?"
