A messenger pigeon perched in Isaac's study window. Under the moonlight and the dim candles, Issac wrote something on a blank sheet of paper. Together with Rena.
Rena, who noticed the bird's presence, immediately approached the window and took a letter tied to the black dove's leg.
"A letter from the command center, sir. The royal army managed to conquer Savoy within three days. They seek further instructions from Her Majesty the Queen."
Rena brought the letter to Isaac after reading it to him.
"We will postpone the next campaign. It is now the peak of winter. No matter how strong our army is, there will be wasted casualties if we keep pushing ourselves. Take this to the office of the ministry of military affairs."
Rena took a file that Isaac had given her and went straight to the ministry of military affairs office. There was a stamp from him and the queen and a sign that the file was confidential.
