Gram, who was helping defend the wall, was resting at night. More precisely, the first night after the siege took place. He had not rested for three days. It was all for the sake of preparing for the upcoming war.
Who would have thought the royal army was more tenacious than he thought. Either way, Gram had thought of the best strategies to defend Savoy.
