It was a large city with a population and area equal to the imperial capital of Grand Aria, Reichstaag. Since civil war broke out in the Grand Aria empire and their power was drained due to the internal war, the Moskov Empire became the single most dominant empire in Lantos.
They have ambitions that are not much different. They claim to be the rightful heirs of the Lantos empire founded more than a millennium ago. But unlike its feline-shy rivals, the Moskov empire was serious about realizing its ambitions.
Besides intervening in civil wars in the empire, Moskov had been expanding into neighboring kingdoms. One by one, the surrounding countries fell and came under Moskov's rule.
