The nobles of Duke Conrad's faction were gathering in one of the secret rooms located in the royal palace. Duke Conrad himself, Marquis Schazar (minister of foreign affairs), Earl Barrow (minister of internal affairs), and other nobles within the assembly.
They have many things to worry about. But beyond all that, the most pressing for them now is the successor to the king's throne. They did everything they could to make Prince Lewis king. But the rise of Prince William's faction worried them.
