The winter nights in the Savoy are quiet. Residents are still under tension. The soldiers didn't loot or harm the residents here, but that didn't mean they could rejoice.
This was five days after the conquest. Snow is still falling, although the weather tends to be more stable. No storms tonight. At a bar, the royal soldiers were gathering for drinks.
"Hey lady! Bring us three glasses of wine!"
"Old man, give us snacks for five!!"
There was a commotion in the bar. This is the only bar that is still open late into the night. Well, this is just a little bar that got a little lucky. There are still bigger and grander bars, but they are closed.
The presence of the soldiers gave a special blessing for them. It seems that the salaries of the soldiers are quite large. They bought up the entire menu available in the kitchen bar!
