Chapter 4 - Feather 4: I just met a nutjob...(Part 2)

~(Y/n) POV~

'If I wasn't on the ground with a 'supernatural' being stepping down on my head, I wouldn't be so quiet.' Breaking out of my thoughts, I manage to get some air into my body before snarkily asking; "Wha-What... are you again?" Travin tsks before putting greater force on my head. I wince. "Hah? Thought I told you already, you moron. I'm only gonna say this one last time. I'm a werewolf."

I roll my eyes, 'There is no such thing as werewolves..., right?' I'm about to voice my thoughts and say that all this werewolf crap is bull, but he beats me to it. "Yeah, I know; feeble human minds made werewolves nothing but unicorns and bullsh*t! Can't believe they lumped us, supernaturals, together with that fairytale crap from kindergarten. Tch! You humans are stupid, annoying and completely oblivious; but I guess that, that makes you easier to manipulate, wouldn't you agree, girly?"

I say nothing. Travin sighs. "Such a waste of a pretty girl, all because she's  mated to an abomination, that completely taints her. It's sad really." I close my eyes, about to welcome the darkness that extends it's embrace to me temptingly; but a part of me tells me to hold on a little longer. I am little hesitant at first, but in the end I follow my gut instinct; a very injured one, might I add...

I lay still, just wondering how long it will take for this moron to realise that 'Bakatsuo' won't be coming for me. Travin begins to hum, spinning a twig he picked up, God knows when, between his fingers as entertainment.

As I begin to go over the events so far, I realise that Travin called 'Bakatsuo' an abomination twice. 'I wonder why?' I croak out; "Hey." Travin glances down at me, his foot still on my head, and raises an eyebrow. Taking that as a sign I continue; "Wh-why did you call Natsuo an abomination?" He grimaces and sighs, before scrunching up his face in disgust. "Kobayashi isn't a pureblood werewolf. For supernaturals, that trait alone is something twisted, revolting and most importantly; unacceptable. I can't help but agree more though. Just the mere thought sickens me... Why do you ask?"

I retort; "Why did you tell?" He presses his foot down harder on my head. I grunt in pain. Not looking down at me, a sadistic smile makes it's appearance on his face, "You asked, so I obliged. Also it was 'cause I wanted to do something to take my mind off the boredom and besides..." Now he glances down at me, "...it might give you some closure."

"Closure?", I question hesitantly. Travin now smirks, "Closure for when you'll be dieing along with Kobayashi.", venomously spitting out Natsuo's last name. My eyes widen, "What?! Why?! What the h*ll's wrong with you people?!" He rolls his eyes at my outburst. "First of all, learn to f*cking respect me. I'm the beta's son. And secondly, nothing is wrong with us. It's the unspoken law of the supernatural realm. If your mate dies, you die. If your mate is a hybrid and has become defiant to the parties that took them in; well... We eliminate them and subsequently their mates; no matter the innocent mate's species. So just shut up and prepare for death's embrace."

"Like h*ll I'll respect the likes of you! You're nobody to me and your title means jacksquat to me! Got it?! And those 'laws of the supernatural realm' are hella stupid! Just. Like. You. Dumba**!" He growls down at me, however I don't flinch in the slightest; my rage wiping out any fear I previously had. "Shut. Your. F*cking. Mouth!" I grit out defiantly, "No." ; which causes my head to be pushed deeper into the ground. "Guess I'll start the show early then.", he growls. He then raises his foot to stomp my head into a bloody pulp. How I know? His eyes are now that luminescent golden now.

Travin brings his foot down. I close my eyes to prepare me to see the endless black void of my death. Just when I expect to feel life release me of its warm embrace, I feel myself in someone's arms. Snapping my eyes open, I look up to see none other than...'Eh...? Another stranger?!' He's glaring at Travin. 'Guess I really can't help but attract a bunch of strangers to me that aren't even human, huh?' I sigh in both relief and hopelessness. 'What has my life come to?' Looking at Travin, he's glaring holes into my saviour, practically frothing at the mouth.

I weakly chuckle,'Rabid dog.' The guy holding me looks down at me. I finally take in his appearance, or rather what I can see. His hair is snow white and his eyes, a beautiful oceanic crystal blue. His white hair has some longs strands that are tied up neatly and left to hang like little low ponytails. From what I can make out, he is wearing a white shirt and that is all I can see due to my being carried in his arms, bridal style. He gives me a small gentle smile, which I return.

He speaks in a quiet, smooth and relaxing voice, as though afraid I'd crumble like the soil beneath his feet. "Glad to see that you can still smile after being around that.", nodding his head over in Travin's  direction. I respond, "Same~." My saviour's smile widens marginally at my comment. Travin grits out, "Get. The. F*ck. Outta. Here. Aoi.", breaking the calming trance brought on by Aoi.

Aoi simply stares blankly at Travin and says, "No." Travin growls. Aoi turns his back on Travin and begins walking away. This further aggravates  Travin, I know because I hear him growling loudly. I tense. Looking over Aoi's shoulder, I see Travin speeding towards us; eyes ablaze with fury and insult.

Aoi doesn't budge when he finally notices my stare behind him, and follows my gaze. Just before Travin could crash against Aoi and I, something collides into Travin. A grunt is heard and Travin is roughly knocked away, and flies through several trees. The object that collided with Travin, turns out to be a person; a male. The black wings, belonging to the person, block me from seeing who the newcomer is. Aoi says in his smooth voice, "Took you long enough. I almost had to lift a finger there."

"Shut up, Ezra. I still got here in time.", is heard from the male, before he turns to face us. And let's just say my jaw hit the floor...
