Author's Note: This will be the first chapter for today and will be all about Luscia. The next chapter will be returning back to Alex to round off today. Next week will be my final exam week so, if I don't update in time with my schedule, it is probably because I am studying for them. Enjoy!

After I finished my long afternoon of helping people, I was able to return back to the main part of the city without getting caught. Of course it would be suspicious if I suddenly disappeared so, I asked Sierra to tell them that I will reading in the Axanon National Library.
They would easily be able to check if I was really there or not so, I made sure to tell the kind librarian lady to not allow them access to only one specific area. They would leave, assuming I am in that place as I have already said that I didn't want to be disturbed.
After I finished my work, I would wipe off my sweat and meet Sierra. She will accompany me to the library and bring me to the supposed 'restricted area'. After that, I will get as many books as possible and start reading them for a select amount of time.
Once we reach that time, I will use my ability on Sierra and move her body all the way back to my house and tell them that they should probably pick me up already. Well, that is merely a distraction as, since I am a noble, there is no way that they would give up on checking on me just because I said so.
They might be checking maybe around every 20 minutes or so. That's why I snuck in at the time they were probably on a break. And yes, I know that it is a plan that isn't very elaborate and is very stupid but, I was never the one who thought up the plans before. The only reason I get good grades is because I actually want to improve myself for the people.
'But, this wasn't entirely necessary at all.' is what most people would say. But, trust me when I say that I think there will be repercussions if I am wanting to visit the slums, of all places. My parents might be on my side but, lots of other noble families will definitely be against it.
Anyway, I just continued that routine every Saturday. I did say that there will be an international meeting but, it will take around 2 weeks just for every party to prepare themselves. After all, this is something the whole world will need to know so, everyone is bringing only their most trusted confidants and their strongest bodyguards.
It will be super dangerous to go there but, it is important for my own future so, I need to go there. I should be fine as our best Royal Knights will be protecting our party for the entire meeting.

- 2 WEEKS LATER -
It looks like I was finally able to get permission from both my father and my uncle to come with them to the meeting. It wasn't easy to do either. They were both very hard to convince as they both said that I was way too young and that I should be focused on being a child.
I get what they were saying. They didn't want me to be too pressured by my future and wanted me to enjoy being a kid while I still was one. Or, that was my interpretation of it. Still, I couldn't take their advice as... I wasn't a kid.
I may still have plenty to learn about human nature and stuff but, I have already seen things that most adults might not have. I already know things that are beyond my age so, acting like a kid now would be weird. It's already too late to enjoy my child life now. I accepted what I will become so, I can't just have fun without a care in the world anymore.
I have a friend who I am grateful towards for wanting to be my friend but, we may eventually split apart due to us having different goals in life. She has her entire life to decide what she wants to be and have a good life but I was always going to become the future head of my family, whether I liked it or not.
It was just my duty and... a duty is something I take very seriously. We had a job we had to do so deeply ingrained into our minds that we started associating our life with that duty. I may be someone different now but, remnants of something that was a part of us will always live on.
It is just like what they say. 'A person with conviction is a hard person to change'. I will take my job seriously and excel at it so that no one I know will ever know regret or sadness. I will do anything to make sure that the people can go on with their lives, without a care in the world.

Oh.
Tears?
Why am I crying? That should be a good thing. I already told myself this before as well. The happiness of the majority is worth much more than the sadness of the minority. The minority being only me. Am I missing something else here? I should be happy to be fulfilling the goal my entire life is for.
"Are you alright, Miss Luscia?"
I hear Carros' voice behind me. I hurriedly wipe my tears away and turn back around to greet him.
"Hello, Carros. I'm fine. So, are we about to leave?"
"Yes, Master Greis and King Anastelo have already assembled in front of the teleportation crystal. Are you ready for this?"
"As ready as I'll ever be."
I walk with Carros until we reach the teleportation crystal that is hidden behind the royal Throne Room. I was told that almost every castle in existence has these sorts of secret exits for the royal family to escape in case of emergencies. Well, this is definitely a kind of emergency so, it is a bit fitting for us to be using it.
I join my father and my uncle and hold their hands. One of the knights pours Mana into the crystal and chants the destination. Teleportation crystals are unlike Portal Magic as they need to be set to a specific place by both points. Like, the crystal in the Elysian Empire needs to pinpoint the location of this crystal and vice versa for it to actually work.
After a short time, the scenery changes drastically. From the inside of a dark room to a brightly colored garden filled with bushes sporting an assortment of flowers.
"Welcome, to the Elysian Empire!"
I stay still in shock while processing what happened. Wait, their teleportation crystal isn't located inside of their castle? Also, why is it in the middle of their garden? But, from the looks of everyone else's faces, this is regular.
Am I the weird one here?
I followed everyone else up some stairs until we reached a room with a large round table. If we were all knights then, this would be fitting for one of the legends the 1st Hero told us about. It was something like... King Arnold and His Knights of The Round Table, right?*
When we arrived, I saw so many other people here that it made me feel nervous. Skipping past all of the others, I locked down onto one particular man at the very end of the table. He has short, golden hair that doesn't look like it was combed and long sideburns that connected with his beard.
On either side of him was a boy and a girl, probably his kids. I'm assuming that this man is the current Emperor that invited all of us here. He had the same idea as me then, as he has his own kids joining the meeting.
"We will now start the introductions!"
