Author's Note: This might not be to the liking of you guys but, the point of view will be from the older brother of one of the bullies from the last chapter. Also, you might be tired of this but, I must again say that since this is a short side story, it will only have around 500 - 800 words.

There was something my old man once said when I was much younger.
"Never trust a demon."
When I asked him why, he said that many of our ancestors had died fighting very strong and malicious demons. He said that my grandfather died when he was trying to stop a fight between 2 rival groups of demons.
He said that the most evil of them were the Ogres, Oni, and the legendary existences known as Vampires. He told me stories of the past, during the Great Races War when the Demon King waged war on every other race, including humans.
Many people died in that war. The 3 that were said earlier were the ones who had killed the most out of any other demon. Ogres have incredible strength and are capable of overpowering a race that is known for their physical strength: beastmen. The Oni are skilled warriors that are trained to fight ever since they are young, becoming incredibly tough opponents.
They are all-rounders who are good at many styles of fighting. Lastly, the Vampires. Arguably, the most fearsome of the 3. The Vampires had such high standings in demon society that many Vampire Lords only fought in the war for pleasure. The way they kill is just as twisted as their personality.
They had the ability to drink up every drop of blood in a living creature. They were also capable of sucking on Mana but, they liked the former more as it is much more painful. They were legendary due to the fact that they had the ability to be immortal as long as they drink at least 10 large buckets of blood a year.
They were equally known due to their unique appearance: frighteningly pale skin, and long canine teeth they use to suck blood. They are considered to be fearful legends nowadays though as they are now extinct. However, my old man isn't convinced that they are all really gone as they are conniving tricksters would do anything to stay alive. Other kinds of demons that eradicated many human lives were Sirens, Orcs, and Succubi.
Sirens have the ability to lure people to their death just by their voices. Orcs had vast numbers and had the ability to eat just about anything. Lastly, the Succubi could seduce any male with their power of attraction and their cunningness. Sirens were known for almost always having green or blue hair while Orcs were said to have big bodies, but not as big as Ogres. The Succubi were known to be a female-only race and had horns on their head, like Oni, albeit smaller.
I learned all of that from him. He hated anyone who advocated for the end of racism against them, like Lord Elsher. Due to my father, I realized that the greatest evil in this world were the demons and that they shouldn't be allowed to live with us. So, after my younger brother came back complaining about some kids, I made sure to follow the girl around.
My brother described her as being a loser with no friends because she is always by herself. When I heard that, I got some equipment and tracked her. Apparently, she is the daughter of Lord Elsher and is the cousin of the blind show-off from the training session.
Those 2 really get on my nerves as they think that they are the superior ones every time they go after my brother. However, I concluded that the show-off is just a human who knows nothing. But, that can't be said for the girl.
She likes staying in dark places and almost never goes anywhere too crowded. Her skin is also way too pale for a person who is supposed to be the daughter of Lord Elsher, who has more regular colored skin. There was 1 thing that struck me as odd though. My father has gone many lengths to ruin Lord Elsher's reputation, even going as far as to spread a rumor about some 'Moonlit Demon' or something.
However, after some digging, I found out that the wife of Lord Elsher has only been seen in public a few times. And, every time, she wore many small rings on her hands that, when I compare them to some disguise rings floating around in the market, look extremely similar. They must have thought that if they were small, no one would notice.
Just when I thought that this wasn't going anywhere, I saw something that changed everything. At night, I saw the girl through her window removing something. Then, her hair color changed from red to silver. Using my equipment, I saw that she had suddenly sprouted horns and fangs.
I found something interesting, haven't I?
