Thousands of years before humans have existed, when the first Divine Beast went out of control, an unknown cosmic entity came down to its world and shattered its soul into millions of pieces.
It was then moved to a nearby volcano by the cosmic entity. There, it met a powerful creature that was a bit more powerful than the Divine Beast at half of its strength.*
The entity asked the creature to guard the place where he will seal the Divine Beast. The creature agreed and became the first guardian. And because of its new status, it got a prolonged lifespan.
However, it would still die one day so, when its children were old enough, it passed on its duty to them.
This happened all the way until one certain child was born. This child had power that was at least thrice the power of its predecessor. Unfortunately, because of its abnormal amount of power, it had only a third of its parent's lifespan.
The abnormal creature discovered that something evil was trying to corrupt its mind after a few years. It spent most of its life fighting it until it had its own child. The abnormal one then died soon after giving birth.
However, the evil then corrupted its child and made it forget its duty to protect the Divine Beast's ruin. The corrupted beast, thankfully, didn't inherit the abnormal one's strength. What it did inherit was power from the evil that corrupted its soul.
It roamed the forest for a few weeks until it sensed many presences moving around on the mountain. It dug deep and exposed only its back to make them think that it is just a rock. It then observed one of the presences unleash a mighty attack that wiped out every other monster that it sensed.
That was when it felt something behind it, hiding in the woods. It sensed how big and strong its soul was and sensed how dangerous it was to its own life.
Now, it just stays in the forest, waiting for an opportunity to attack the thing it deemed too powerful to be left alive.

I open the book and flip through the pages. The only information that I need to know is their attributes, their locations, and their names.
Wait a minute.
Maybe the book won't have their names because this book only has information on the legend about the Divine Beasts.
Oh well.

According to the legend, these 'Divine Beasts' are creatures of unimaginable power yet, why do they not attack humanity? In this book, we will be discussing the points in the story of the Divine Beasts that don't make sense.'
That was the introduction to the book.
Well, too bad for the authors of this book. They compiled so many reasons why the Divine Beasts don't exist. And here I am, knowing that they have existed ever since I was reborn in this body.

This book might think that they are fake but, they are very real to me so, tell me where their locations are.
'The legend states that each Divine Beast has one sub-attribute, excluding the Void attribute. This has long thought to be fake because it is very rare for a real monster to actually have a sub-attribute, though it is much rarer for a human being.'

Each Divine Beast has a sub-attribute?
The only one that I know of is Ignis Drakonis. Judging by the name, it should be a Divine Beast with the sub-attribute of Lava, right? If so, it would be very hard to control it.
'In one passage of the legend, it says: 'The Beast of Flame lives in the greatest of the fiery pits, the Beast of Lightning lives in the precipice above the peaceful gateway, the Beast of Water lives in the deepest of the depths of mystery, the Beast of Quake lives in the intertwining traps of no return, and the Beast of Light lives in the place where no human may walk.' The adventurers who read this passage attempted to go to places that sound like the places that were described, but to no avail. This gives further evidence that the Divine Beasts do not exist.'

I close the book and try to remember the clues I read. I run out of the room and keep on going so that I can reach my base where all of my maps are. I don't even notice the intense storm that is going on.

When I am running on the path to get to my base, I see something in the distance. What is that thing? No, I should not get distracted. But, I need to know what it is.
A run closer and see that it is a vehicle being drawn by horses. There is a girl around my age and an old man there as well.
But what really drew my attention there was the giant bear attacking them. Its body shined in the occasional lightning flashes happening during the storm.
Wait, shined?
No way, is its body made of metal!?
A creature whose existence is on debate.
A Forgeclaw.
The girl is about to be hit by one of its attacks.
Frick.
Someone is about to die. I can't just stay here and do nothing. I start running as fast as I can towards them. I am already so tired but, I don't stop.
"Get out of there!"
I jump and tackle the girl out of the attack's way. I can say my apologies after the danger is gone. However, it looks like the attack is going to hit me instead.
This is the end of the line for me.

Just when I got the clues to the locations of the Divine Beast.
I am going to die the same way I died as Zeta.
