Chapter 6: Charles
I was called to active duty. My mom was not happy about that. My dad tries to put a brave face on, but I could tell he was upset. I do not think Henry cares about me leaving. I never see Henry. I did not care to see Henry. Mom thinks Henry is seeing someone. I do not know how I am going to tell Susan I am leaving. I knew she would be upset. I tried to call, but she did not answer the phone. I am still thinking about Susan's roommate Sara. I wish I was not thinking about Sara because I love Susan. My mom told me that Henry was done working on the movie.
"Mom thinks you are seeing someone," I told Henry. "I do not know where she got that idea from. I have been too busy working to see anyone," Henry replied. "You need to take time off work. You work too much," I replied. "Have you told Susan you are leaving for active duty?" Henry asks. "No, I try to call her, but she does not answer the phone," I replied. "You need to go see her," Henry suggests.
I went to see Susan. Susan opens the door. "Hey Charles, what is going on?" Susan asks. "We have to talk," I told Susan. We went outside. "I am leaving on active duty in a week," I told Susan. "How long are you going to be gone for?" Susan asks. "I do not know. I wish I knew, but I will write to you and email you," I replied. "I will write to you too," Susan replied. I took Susan back to my place where we made love. I am going to miss Susan so much. I am hoping by then my mom would like Susan better.
Susan spends the night. Susan was telling me that she cannot stand her roommate Melissa. "Why don't you move out and get another place?" I ask. "I cannot afford it," Susan replied. "Once we are married you do not have to see Melissa anymore," I told Susan. Susan and I went to sleep. I could not wait to marry Susan and start a family with her.
Henry
Henry could not stand Charles. Henry misses Susan. Henry did feel bad that Charles was going to active duty, but he did not feel bad that he loved Susan. Henry fell in love with Susan when he first met her. Henry hates Charles. Henry was jealous of Charles. Henry never forgave Charles for stealing a girl he liked. Henry was madly in love with this girl named April Green. April was in love with Charles and Henry started hating Charles.
Henry saw this woman that he thought was beautiful. The woman was talking to this other man. Henry thought that man was a boyfriend. The man left the woman alone. Henry was going to talk to the woman, but his phone started ringing. It was his mom. "Your brother is leaving soon. Are you coming home to say goodbye to your brother?" Katherine asks. "Yes, I will be right there," Henry replied.
