While Slezzy dressed in the matte cape that Hiram had given him, Haram conjured what resembled a kind of grey—looking magic.
— Is this really necessary? — asked the boy, while holding a tip of the clothes he had just worn.
— Yes, it is necessary. In a few minutes, you will be able to understand the reason for all this. Ah! And of course... don't forget to cover that ugly face with the hat!
The demons were laughing.
With the cap on his head, the boy confided uncomfortably:
— I must look like a ghost!
Haram then approached the other two, spreading the mysterious magic around them in a circular fashion.
— What is it? — asked the boy, curious.
— Han... Have you ever traveled by plane, Slezzy? — asked Hiram.
— No!?
— Right... Then you'll find out how it feels!
The gray magic began to cover the bodies of the three completely.
— What? But... — Slezzy did not complete his sentence in time.
In a fraction of seconds, the young man felt a huge tingling in his belly, closing his eyes due to the strong rays of light that the magic had emitted.
His consciousness became completely destabilized for a moment.
*
All the noise was over. The rays of light were stopped. The tingling of his belly was suddenly over. No more rain fell.
Slezzy opened his eyes slowly.
At first glance, he could see six large walls around him, which formed a gloomy—looking hexagonal room. The walls were at about ten meters, composed of cracks and an aged texture.
Only in one of the six walls was there an exit: a large thick wooden door with two fifths of the length of height in relation to the wall, which allowed the hearing of a small noise of steps and conversations behind it.
The place was illuminated by some torches of reddish fire.
There were also stones scattered across the rocky floor that made up the room.
— That's the one... ruin of Maple? — asked the young man, still confused.
— Exactly. But that place is only one of the six entrances to it — Haram said, stepping forward towards the door.
— Six entrees?
— Uhum! Six entries. All exactly the same! — said Hiram.
— So...
— Do not delay us with more questions! — interrupted Haram, who was with his right hand already ringing the big door. — Let's enjoy the ride first.
Hiram gave a light laugh, walking towards his brother.
— Right... — Slezzy agreed.
Next, the three stood before the great wooden door.
— Get ready... Slezzy. From here... everything is about to change! — declared Haram, opening the door only with his fingertips.
