Other than Si getting injured once more, the rest of the board was traversed easily enough. Nicole was pushed to the end even faster while stepping onto a river tile, leaving Kairos to catch up. Once the both of them had gotten to the end, they were lightly pushed off the tile and past the borders of the tiles. Then, all of the tiles began shifting.
The terrain rapidly changed, terraforming drastically. The miniature mountains that used to reach nearly a hundred meters high shrunk down to the ground, while the river water disappeared and the ground rose upwards.
Soon, the entire thing had become flat, with the tiles becoming black and white like a chessboard.
