When da-hee got home that day, it was expected of her to be sad, considering what had happened earlier, but as she laid on her bed she started to smile. She didn't feel that what had happened was bad or even embarrassing, but she found it to be quite fun and was very satisfied with what she had done.
Suddenly someone knocked on her door, it was da-min.
"Hey, get dressed and wear something black."
"Why?"
"Stitch died; we need to go to his funeral."
"What!"
Stitch was one of the men that worked for the Styx gang and even though he wasn't really religious, his mother was, so the funeral was held in a church and everyone was there, including mister cha and his son tats.
When the service was over, da-hee quickly dragged tats away to speak to him privately.
"What is going on?"
"What do you mean?"
"Why is Stitch dead?"
"Da-hee, people die everyday."
"You had something to do with this, didn't you?"
"His death was a mistake, he was fighting some drunk, he got pushed and hit his head."
"..., it's cute that you think you can lie to me."
"You and your magical third eye, but that eye doesn't see everything, because if it did, you would have known that Stitch was playing double agent for my father, and that is why you need me."
"You didn't need to do it."
"I did what it took to protect our plan and we need to speed it up or we will never be able to get rid of my dad."
"If we rush things, we make mistakes, the last thing we need is you messing things up. Just tell me first before you do anything in the future, we are partners remember."
"Fine."
"Oh, and speaking of messing things up, have you been telling anyone about what I do and about the gang, like to some short girl who talks a lot."
"Not really, but you know I partake in a lot of pillow talk."
"Ahhhh, never mind."
Da-hee wanted to find out how uju knew about her, she didn't like leaving questions unanswered, but she wasn't too stressed about it, she knew uju was no threat to her.
As she walked back into the church where everyone was, da-min rushed towards her and grabbed her hand.
"Where have you been?"
"Why, what happened?"
"Mister cha needs to speak to us, let's go."
They entered into an office where mister cha was sitting and talking to a bunch of his associates.
"Ah, da-min, da-hee, what took you both so long, come in. What I have to say to you won't take long, so no need to sit. How is your new school? Do you like it?"
"It's fine."
"I was wondering why your sister suddenly wanted to send you to that school but she begged and begged so I allowed her."
He looked to da-hee for a response but she said nothing and just stared at him.
"I also saw you pulling my son away somewhere, I know you too are close because you grew up together, but I need you to remember, he is not meant for a girl like you. Never forget your place or someone will remind you of it."
