Chapter 4.
Midgard Invasion Part 1.

Walking in front of the classroom board, Eugo nervously gulped as he stared at his classmates.
"H-Hello! I'm Eugo Admin, nice to meet you all!" He said before bowing down.
"Care to share with us what you like Eugo?" A gentle-looking old man smiled as he look at Eugo who is nervous.
"I-I l-like eating cakes, mango, and ice cream... And... And I like hanging out with Fio and just chilling around" Eugo blurted out, forgetting that his best friend is a girl now.
The class becomes silent then they started to become noisy as they tease Fio and Eugo.
Fio sigh, her right eye is twitching continuously.
'This bastard! Did he forget I'm a girl again!'
The teacher smiled. "Then what do you have any dislikes?"
"I-I d-don't like it when someone scratches the blackboard o-or making d-defeaning sounds"
"Is that all?" The teacher asked while still smiling.
"Y-Yes"
"You can go to your seat now"
Sighing in relief, Eugo climb upstairs as he sat on his seat only to see Fio looking angry.
"Did I say something bad?" He asked even though he know he did.
"No nothing"
'Nevermind, I don't care what they think, it's not the truth anyway'
Sighing, Fio glanced at her left and saw the guy standing up.
"Calceta Cyril Kyle" The teacher shouted as he read the list of names of his students. Glancing up, he didn't see someone standing up which puzzled him.
"I'm here teacher" Cyril said looking at the teacher while standing in front of his classmates.
"Ah oh" Surprised the teacher unconsciously stepped back then he nodded at him.
"I'm Cyril Kyle Calceta and I like it if no one is bothering me but I don't like it if there are no people near me that's all"
Cyril's answer baffled his classmates while he look at his teacher asking for permission if he can go back to his seat already.
The teacher nodded then smiled as he called the next person.
Of course, Cyril never removed his hand that is holding the handkerchief that is covering his mouth and nose.

"I'm Fio Minato and I like it when someone is so understanding and so empathetic. I also like sweet foods but not something too sweet"
"I don't particularly hate anything, that's all thank you" After finishing her speech, Fio looks at his teacher as the teacher nod with a smile.
Sighing in relief, Fio climbs the stairs as Eugo leaves his seat so that Fio can come back to her seat which is in the middle.
"Nice speech Fio" Eugo said while sitting in his seat.
Fio stayed silent as she listened to her classmate introducing herself to the whole class.
Shrugging, Eugo focused his attention on the girl introducing herself in front of the classroom.
He already knows why Fio didn't answer, she's being lazy to answer his question.
...
After all of them are done introducing themselves, the teacher went in the middle, in front of the classroom smiling.
"So are you excited tomorrow?" He asked, in his eyes excitement can also be seen.
"Yes!!" The whole class explode as the students simultaneously answered.
"They are so excited" Eugo muttered looking around the class.
"Yeah but look at this" Fio said pointing at her left.
"Uh... That's an irregular don't mind it" Eugo chuckled wryly while scratching his face.
Cyril glanced at the two silently then continued reading his book again.
After a bit chat with the teacher, the bell rang as the students excitedly leave the classroom. It's the first day, so it's to be expected for them to go back early.
"I thought we are in college?" Fio asked confused while they are walking back home.
"I dunno, we are in another world" Eugo shrugged, he didn't know why they go back early even though it's not high school anymore.
Tapping Eugo's shoulder, Fio look at the guy and pointed at the left road "Hey we need to buy ingredients"
Before getting out of the house earlier morning, the two memorized the places near them by using Google Map. Surprisingly, Google is a thing here too.
...
Arriving at their home, Fio quickly headed to the couch in the living room as she throw herself at it.
"Ah~"
"Hey Fio don't just leave the ingredients on the floor and besides aren't you going to cook?"
"Yeah yeah I'm not going to sleep"
"Good"
Eugo picked up the scattered plastic bag with ingredients on the floor and placed them in the kitchen while sighing.
Walking to the couch, he sat down and opened the Television watching the news.
"Hey are you an old man? Why are you watching the news!?"
"News is fun and I don't have the mood to watch anime"
"Huh?"
"Just go and cook already Fio, I'm hungry"
"Ugh... Should I teach you how to cook?"
"No"
"Oh come on"
"Just do it already Fio"
"Ugh"
Standing up lazily, Fio went to the kitchen and minutes passed before a nice aroma filled the air.
"Nice, I'm hungry is it done Fio?"
"No"
...
...
...
"Is it done already?"
"Not yet"
"How long till the food will be finished" Eugo inquired while groaning in displeasure.
"Ugh I want to eat already"
"I'm also hungry Eugo so shut up already"
Minutes passed and Fio finally come out of the kitchen holding a large plate.
"Here"
At the large plate, a small plate with rice and porridge along with a bowl of soup and a large cup of juice lay making Eugo's stomach complain.
Growl
"Ah~ finally, thank you for the meal" As he said that, Eugo eat the meal savoring the taste.
"You are really good at cooking Fio, how about becoming my wife?"
"Ugh, shut up and just continue eating Eugo!" Sighing, Fio went back to the kitchen again fetching her own food.
Coming back again to the living room, Fio placed down her food and sat beside Eugo as they started to eat merrily.

After eating, Fio climb upstairs to her room and quickly sprawled on the bed. In an instant, she is already sleeping while Eugo falls asleep on the couch.
...
Next day...

"Huh?" Fio woke up hearing 'ding' sounds repeatedly, she slowly opened her eyes only to be surprised by a blue interface floating in front of him.
"Ah yes the system alert mentioned on the book yesterday" She muttered staring at the system alert curiously.
Yesterday, after Eugo is done reading, she also read the book then gave it back to the silent guy.
Apparently, the God of this world is called Ashborn, he is the God of Humanity, and the World Dive is a phenomenon that will happen every year.
Time will stop and a system interface will appear asking you if you want to join the World Dive and if you say yes then you will join but if you say no then nothing will happen.
Well from your perspective the system question just appeared and you say no but if you look at other people that accepted it, you will find out that their personalities changed...
That's why in World Dive everyone joins and the God of Humanity will create a kingdom in the world you all are transported to, that only contain players, mostly those who don't want to be left out or just worried for their family members.
But this is a fact for sure, not even 1% of society join the World Dive if it appeared.
That's why a whole continent will appear on the invaded world, housing the players. They can only get out of that continent if they are ready already.
Anyway, the World Dive system question appears at noon every year at Midgard Calendar on April 1st.
"Fio!" A voice shouted as the person knock on the door twice.
"It's open"
"A system prompt!" Eugo said, excited.
Smiling at how excited her best friend was, Fio got up from her bed then stretched her small body.
"I'm too exhausted yesterday that I forgot to check this world anime, manga, and light novels sigh"
"Well we got nothing to do, let's watch some anime on the tv then" Eugo suggested as he motioned for Fio to come downstairs with him.
"Hm" Fio nodded and followed him.
"Ah before that, I'm hungry so Fio can you..."
"No"
"Why?"
"There are leftovers from yesterday, heat them up then eat them, I'm sure they are still okay"
"Ugh"
And so, the two chill down in the living room as they waited for the World Dive at 12:00 or noon.
