The red city. This is what I called this place when I played the game a long time ago. Radovid loved to wear something red, the armor in the game that came from Redania was red, and the two sexiest redheads in the games were from here.
Ok, one was in Oxenfurt, but the city belonged to Redania, so I guess my point is valid. Redania starts with RED, to demarcate the color of the city.
Useless subject aside, it was a city of very close extremes. The center, was beautiful and well kept, but the outer areas of the city, was what you might call extreme poverty.
It was bizarre how it worked.
The square, as usual, was being visited by many of the residents, who were watching 3 people tied to logs, being accused of witchcraft and monstrosity, as one was a gnome and the other, by the words of the accuser, was a shapeshifter.
"I swear, I have no involvement with witchcraft whatsoever!" cried the poor woman. In fact, she didn't have an ounce of magic in her, so it was obviously, the damned faith wanting to show work to the populace, even if it was at the expense of innocents.
Not far away, I could see two children crying, and a man hugging them, stopping the children from running towards the woman.
I use my legilimency on the priest presiding over the situation and things became clear very quickly.
The woman refused to give the children to the priest, who God knows what he would do with them. So, so that his tendency wouldn't slip away, he made the woman a witch, so he could eliminate someone who knows his secret, and he could buy the children from their father, saying that he could give them a better life.
Since he was so fond of shouting in the name of his non-existent deity, I would give him a taste of that which he seeks so much.

POV SACERDOT
That was it. This whore is going to pay for not giving me what I want, and she will still be raising my name, making people idolize me. After that, those two children will be at my mercy, for me to play with as I wish.
But looking beside me, I noticed people moving away from me. This included the soldiers of the eternal fire.
Their faces were frightened, and they seemed about to run, looking at my feet. My eyes follow where they were looking, and I feel my heart begin to beat much more slowly.
My shadow, it looked ten times bigger than it normally would. It had eyes, which stared at me with complete contempt and disgust. Suddenly I could only feel the pain, and how hot I was.
I was on fire.

POV MC
The human torchbearer would be proud of how the damned priest looks now. He looked like a bonfire, with fire covering his body. His screams were music to my ears, even more so after spinning a bit more in his memories.
He was despicable, and they would not be the first children he takes for himself. I did no further research to find out where the remains of those children are. It was inhumane what was done to them.
I took the time to look into the minds of those soldiers who were the strength of faith. Well, I guess there will be three more human torches in the square today, and none of them will be from the accused of whatever they shouted.
Then the soldiers realized that they too were targets. And soon, even in their armor, the fire began to consume their bodies, with them still alive. But I wanted to give a message, one that would frighten those above.
Shaping the fire of the trio, I made a creature appear that, there was no other word, bizarre was the best way to put it.
Horns, a tail, a look full of hate and spite. It was the very personification of something evil and cruel. But his voice, and the message that came was the icing on this giant shit cake.
"You who have used my name so much, it is time to pay. For those of you who love to kill, rape, steal, go on, do it in my name, I, THE ETERNAL FIRE, will be with open arms, welcoming each and every one of you. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA."
Okay, I admit, the laugh was a bit cringe-worthy, but every good dark being has to laugh that way, or else I would be one step short of those great dimensional beings.
I left the fire construct there, playing with the burning men for a good 10 minutes. I even made the men's appearances change to those little imps that every tale has.
Of course, more Eternal Fire priests and their soldiers arrived, and I just made the construct look at them, and lick its lips with its scarlet tongue. Clearly saying that soon, they would go together.
After the disappearance of such a being, the square slowly emptied, but of course, news of such an event was spreading faster than the fleas that live on every corner of this city.
Satisfied with myself, and knowing that this woman would be seen the right way from now on, I continued my stroll, in search of the sexy redhead who was Geralt's companion in my adventures as a player.
My walk took me to a beautiful house, which was now in a sorry state and many things were lying in the yard, the windows boarded up and valuables clearly missing.
As I stood there, just rummaging through some trinkets, I sensed the presence of a person approaching, and it came as no surprise to me when the beautiful sorceress found me there, putting things away as best she could.
"It is not polite to steal, sir." she says, as she tried to get a better look at me.
"I agree. Lucky for the former resident of this house, I don't need to steal, just say I need your help, or rather, your little sister needs help." I reply, getting up and leaving a locked box on the floor.
I turn to face her, and our eyes meet. She stares at me for a while.
"Relax miss Merigold, I have come at the request of Vezemir and Geralt. We are looking for information from the girl and it seems that the Hunt is on her tail. So I have come to see if you can lend us a hand, and help when needed." I inform.
"And who would you be?" she asks, staring at me harder.
"Swam Dim, but people call me Sam." I answer, and reach down, picking up the box I had just closed. "Inside are some portal stones, in case you want to get your questions answered, they lead to the courtyard of Kaer Morhen. To return, you just need to trigger them a second time. But be warned, it will lead back to where you left off." I explain, leaving the box on a table to the side, as I head out towards the city once again.
As much as I want to talk more with her, this is not the time yet, let her study a little of the box and the objects inside, when she goes to Vezemir to ask her questions, I will have more confidence from her to have a conversation.
