Hearing her outburst when she squeezed her head, "Oh my God, did someone tamper with my phone when I fainted? Is this accident planned beforehand? Who would want to harm me?"
Roland can see from the way she was scared she wasn't lying or making up a story, her body was trembling and she looked even paler than when he had arrived.
Hurrying to reassure her, Roland said, "Okay, okay, there is no need to worry, so just relax, I will get the security to check the surveillance footage in the car park, we might even get the driver's faces."
When the Doctor came with the prescription saying to her, "Miss John you can go now but try and be relaxed and get some rest, in case you are experiencing any drowsiness or dizziness it will be wise to return and get some test done."
"Doctor, can I go to work?" Hoping with all her heart he will say yes because the way Brent spoke to Roland he has no intention of visiting her as she has to recuperate at home.
"Yes, it is only a slight cut and bump on your head but still take it easy next thing you exert yourself and get a concussion."
Lystra know with everything thing that was happening in Brent's life she can't afford to waste any time. She was not expecting to hear that report.
Recalling when the accident took place, it was only a minute before she had a blackout, so how long after the ambulance came and when did the person delete the numberplate video?'
Responding calmly to the doctor before he decided she was not well enough to leave, "Thank you, Doctor, I will take all precautions necessary."
Having no choice she followed Roland to his car, not wanting to be too obvious and blurt out what obsession she may have for Brent.
She sits quietly trying to figure out what to say to divert his thoughts. On the way home Lystra said, "Mr Roland can you check and see which of the ambulance took me to the hospital and find out who made the report of the accident, also who is it that answered my phone when you called."
"I will investigate the matter tomorrow so stop worrying and if you don't feel well in the morning I will explain everything to Boss." Roland heard her mumble something when he asks, "Did you say something?"
"I was just thinking out loud, but my mind was baffled because something tells me that those men were looking for the boss, because he always leaves at five, and the boss leave the office at four-thirty today, I was the only one I think leave almost five."
"Okay, I don't want you fretting up yourself, the doctor said to relax, I will take a look into the matter." Roland heard her sigh as she close her eyes and rest her finger on her temple.
Slanting a glimpse at her as he drives, 'knowing she could be right.'
